Complete Record: A demonstration of the color processes in color lithography. Shows the techniques of transfer, visualization, registry, and all other elements needed for successful color lithography. Includes examples of the work of Toulouse Lautrec, Renoir, Cezanne, Vouilliard, and of a few promising young contemporary printmakers. MS of several drawing by Toulouse Lautrec. CU of various paintings. MS of an artist in a lithograph workshop lifting a large stone slab and washing and preparing it for print. The artist pours red powder on top and grinds another stone on top of the slab. The artist then paints on the stone with grease and covers it with acid etch. The artist then washes the stone slab under a sink again. The artist rolls ink across the stone with a roller. Two artists slide the slab under a press and then remove the paper with the print on it. Afterwards, the artist draws on the slab with pastels and presses it through the machine press again. The artist compare the different versions of the lithograph. The artist then applies another layer of ink on the stone. MS of all the versions of the print being hung up to dry. CU of several works of art by various artists including Renoir and Cezanne.
