Complete Record: The film is an inauguration of the first coast to coast air service in the United States. Passengers flew by day aboard the Ford Tri-Motor planes of Transcontinental Air transport. At night they continued there journey by railroad. The air-rail trip took 48 hours. This is a promotional film publicizing joint air-rail travel in the United States.
