Complete Record: Claude is a small but silent boy who worries about a box to which he keeps adding dials, antennae, etc. His parents are extremely rich and presumably, very “square”. Throughout the film Claude’s father keeps telling him: “Claude, you’ll never amount to anything.” Mother several times exasperatedly asks him, “Can’t you do anything, Claude?” Claude says nothing, but in the end he has the last “word”: he twiddles the dials on his completed box and vaporizes both parents. Animation incorporates photographic images.
