Chilly Smith Farm

Documents the true story of the aging and death of Gramps and his wife, Nan, recording a family's decision to care for their grandparents at home rather than placing them in a nursing home. Raises the question of death with dignity as it examines the effects of advancing senility. Focuses on the thoughts and perceptions of family members about the experience, including the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, through still black-and-white photographs, color footage of family events, and comments by family members. Concludes with all family members, including children, present for the birth of a baby girl., Documents the true story of the aging and death of Gramps and his wife, Nan, recording a family's decision to care for their grandparents at home rather than placing them in a nursing home.
