Description: Demonstrates Couette flow in relation to viscosity measurement and various combinations of Couette and Plane Poiseuille flow. Fall of spheres singly, and in groups, illustrates deformation drag. Axisymmetric Poiseuille flow at the inlet of a tube and development of velocity distribution around an elliptical cylinder are related to vaiation in the Reynolds number. Other demonstrations show the characteristics of these classes of fluid flow.
