Complete Record: Bizarre Czech Animation; creepy stylized people, often beautiful. A Little girl wants to be a singer, but her grandmother disapproves and pulls the girl’s ears, as she does every time she does something bad. Eventually, the girl’s ears grow huge from being pulled all the time, and the girl flies away, finding freedom. She flies south with a flock of swallows. She winds up in Africa and comes across a group of elephants, who introduce her to jungle life. The girl organizes a jungle choir. On tour the choir goes to Cecily’s home town, where the grandmother and father cheer them on. Everyone including the animals sits around the table afterwards and toasts Cecily.
