CBC "Holiday Ranch" March 3/56 (16mm)

Description:

Episode C-10-6

Holiday Ranch was a simple variety show designed for fans of country music, though the musicians and song selections subtly cast a much wider net. At its peak, it drew higher ratings than "Hockey Night In Canada."

Hosted by Cliff McKay. Featuring Doug "Hap" Master, Hayward Morse and guests Monique Cadieux and The Hi-Lites. (Norma Hutton is off this week.) House band featuring: Bouncin' Billy Richards, Ralph Fraser, Matt di Florio, Dapper Don McFarlane, Smilin' Al Harris, Donnie Johnson, etc.

Of all the prints I picked up, this one was in the worst condition with some serious warping. I have done my amateur's best to get a quality transfer.

Theme (ensemble)

Hillbilly Stomp (Dapper Don)

Quicksilver (Cliff w/ The Hi-Lites)
