Description: Outtakes, compiled from five reels, from a film production entitled "North of 59." Documents research, scouting, camp development, camp life and logistics planning for oil pipeline infrastructure in Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories, and possibly Nunavut. Filmed in winter (presumably so trucks could pass on frozen roadways) with crews hauling, fishing, surveying, installing temporary housing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, indoor work at drafting boards, and dining together in a mess hall.
