Description: A 36- minute film capturing footage related to the lettuce and grape strikes and boycotts carried out by the United Farm Workers Organizing Committee (UFWOC). Several other film highlights include California governor Ronald Reagan clashing with the California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation, as well as UFWOC and Teamsters union members attending a California State Assembly hearing in Sacramento. Statements given by Dolores Huerta and Cesar Chavez are also provided, including his statement upon his release from jail in Salinas, California for refusing to call off the 1970 lettuce boycott.
