Rand was famous for performing with fans made of feathers and inside of a bubble. She was arrested several times throughout the course of her career for her dancing. In this interview, Rand explains how she started off dancing in ballet and how her famous routine with feather fans largely remained unchanged as it was set to Clair de Lune by Claude Debussy. She would continue dancing until 1978, one year before her death.
