Description: 20-year-old master calligrapher Xiao Keijia, an artist from Beijing currently studying at Whittier College in California, demonstrates and explains her art using ts'ao-shu, the grass or cursive script. In addition to solo projects, Keijia conducts a small class teaching basic strokes to beginners. She briefly traces the evolution of the leading forms of Chinese calligraphy.
