Broader concept of method, part 1 : developing pupil interest

Designed to be used with a student-teaching text. Presents typical student attitudes and responses to the conventional, teacher-dominated lesson-hearing type of high school class recitation. Then contrasts the effects of the informal group-discussion type of class in which students are permitted to share in the planning of the work and are thereby stimulated toward worth-while and meaningful learning experiences.
