Description: "Breakdowns of 1937" was one in a series of films (1936-38, 1940-42, 1944, 1946-47 and 1949) made by Warner Brothers, showing actors repeatedly flubbing lines, breaking character, and reacting with frustration, humor, or improvisation. It includes vignettes with Alice Brady, George Brent, Jane Bryan, Ricardo Cortez, Bette Davis, Claire Dodd, Glenda Farrell, Errol Flynn, Dick Foran, Kay Francis, Alan Hale, Hugh Herbert, William Hopper, Ian Hunter, Allen Jenkins, Boris Karloff, Patsy Kelly and Humphrey Bogart. These annual "blooper" reels were screened by the Warners Club, an organization made up of Warners' actors, producers, directors, crew and executives.
