Brazil: The Land and Its People

Takes the viewer on a tour of Brazil through such cities as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Cuiabá, Belém, Manaus, and Curitiba. Shows how coffee and mahogany are harvested and discusses their importance as exports. Also shows the many means of transportation used in the country and introduces one of the "new pioneers" who has helped to develop the interior of the nation.

Plenty of landscape, aerial and nature shots. Rivers, sculptures, architecture. Deforestation.
