Magnificently photographed in the breathtaking Danish countryside, the story tells of Ole's friendship with Sputnik, a magnificent white Lippizan stallion from a riding school. When Ole learns that Sputnik is considered too difficult to handle and therefore will be returned to the horse dealer and destroyed, he kidnaps his friend to save his life.
