Description: This 1971 educational film follows several students who are blind in their day-to-day activities at their public elementary and high schools in Northern California. The film begins with an information card that explains increasing numbers of students with visual impairments leaving residential schools and enrolling in public schools primarily comprised of sighted children. The camera crew films the students in the classroom, in the hallways with other sighted children, and in one-on-one discussions with teachers and aids.
