Birds of our storybooks

Description: Birds which children encounter in their stories and texts are observed in their natural habitats and as they appear in book illustrations. Birds included are the robin, cardinal, crow, owl, sparrow, wren, woodpecker, jay and seagull. Their characteristics - colouring, song and habits are integrated with poems and stories at the primary level.
