Hello, I'm Carl Erskine. Before a game with the park still empty, I can't resist the temptation to come down here and pitch a couple across the plate, you know, just to keep in practice. But this season, my position is in the outfield, way out. Together with sportscaster Jack Buck, I man one of the ABC mics up there in the broadcast booth. Jack handles play-by-play and I take care of the color commentary for big league baseball every Saturday afternoon.
