Complete Record: Numerous clips on each reel averaging around 10 ft. per clip. Reel 1: The first reel is labeled "Western & Epics" It is mostly westerns, but from ca 40-88 Anthony Quinn appears in "Blood and Sand," another (198-233) has the theme of "The Yellow Rose of Texas," Fred MacMurray appears with a featured black horse ca 257-288. There is a scene in a wine cellar (311-361, and there are clips featuring Medieval dress, an oil well, African cats, pirates, a submarine, World War I planes and the Civil War. At around 1353 there is a clip from "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1353-1374), and from 1110 to 1138 is a clip from Orson Welles's "Othello." Reel 2 is labeled "Comedy-Musicals," and starts with a car full of people singing the entire song "Come Away With Me Lucille (43-97). Also Judy Garland in “Everybody Sing.” From 97-126 the clip appears to be of Benny Goodman playing "String of Pearls. Much footage of Bing Crosby starts ca 300, and the Marx Brothers are shown from ca 530-566. From 566-633 are W. C. Fields and Zasu Pitts, with Margaret Dumont and the Ritz Brothers 6533-670, Will Rogers dancing 750-810. Benny and Rochester are in various clips from about 985-1105. Hope ends the reel.
