A puppet show about a man who is clumsy and impolite at the table shows a class that manners are important. One member of the class goes to lunch and remembers proper lunchroom manners., A young boy who misses many enjoyable experiences because of tardiness goes on a field trip with his class and learns about the importance of promptness by visiting a firehouse and observing a passing railroad train. Emphasizes the importance of getting ready in advance and of estimating the time needed for the completion of routine tasks.
