Complete Record: Shows scenes in the normal daily life of the hive, using live-action photography interspersed with technical and cartoon animation. Includes such interesting sequences as the gathering and storing of nectar, pollination, activities of the queen bee, ruler of the hive, who lays approximately 1500 eggs daily, and the "air conditioning squads" who fan air in and out of the hive with their wings. The film also explains the "language of the bees" which enables a scout bee to announce to the hive in which direction nectar supplies are located and how they may be found.
