In Carlsbad, New Mexico, we visit one of the world's largest natural caverns to see the thousands of bats that fly out at sunset. We also visit The University of New Mexico in Santa Fe where Dr. Scott Altenbach, a world renowned expert on bats, demonstrates his admiration for bats and helps us learn more about the world's only flying mammal through his strobe and slow motion photography.
