Description: Newsreel from KNTV San Jose broadcast on October 22, 1965. Reel 1: Segment 1: San Jose construction firm sues city over community center building at Kelley Park - interview with construction company representative who says the building was demolished on the city's orders and the company has yet to be compensated (sound film). Segment 2: San Jose Police Chief Ray Blackmore interviewed re plans to issue permits to towing operators to distinguish between firms that are only allowed to tow on public streets and property vs. firms allowed to tow on private property (sound film). Segment 3: Santa Clara County Supervisors meeting (?) (silent film). Segment 4: Footage of Vasona Lake County Park, with sign saying park is closed, and ducks - Vasona Lake emptied to permit construction of sewer lines (silent film). Reel 2: Interview with City of San Jose representative responding to suit from construction company, says no formal complaint has yet to be filed, there is no deliberate cover-up, there was never an order to demolish the building (sound film). Reel 3: Reporter Bob Marsden interviews Santa Clara Broncos coach Pat Malley at Buck Shaw Stadium ahead of their game with College of Idaho. Coach Malley describes Idaho's tactics and singles out their quarterback Don McNutt and their half back Washington (sound film). followed by silent footage of Santa Clara University players training on the field.
