Avocets return

Description: This film shows how the Avocet has returned to Britain, as a breeding bird, after a lapse of 100 years. Filmed in Suffolk and Cornwall, it traces the natural history of the Avocet, and the success of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds in protecting rare species.
