[Music] from around the world telephones are ringing in business offices people are greeting business associates and new clients scheduling appointments answering correspondence recording and evaluating business data and making important business decisions who are performing these important daily business activities more than 3 million 385 000 secretaries and that's just in the united states for 24 centuries men worked as secretaries it's just since the mid 1800s and the invention of the typewriters that women began to enter the secretarial force for the first time today of the nation's 3 million 385 000 secretaries there are approximately 33 000 male secretaries some very impressive people have been male secretaries billy rose and andrew carnegie mark twain woodrow wilson henry ford lyndon johnson and even dustin hoffman employment agency personnel in california have reported that good typing and shorthand have become such rare skills that their possessor can command one thousand dollars a month figures from the latest available us department of labor statistics area wage surveys report even higher salaries for executive secretaries in some areas the largest employer in the nation is the federal government a secretary generally enters with a gs4 to a gs7 rating which means an annual salary ranging from over eight thousand dollars to fifteen thousand dollars the department of labor has reported that there will be more than four hundred thousand openings this year for secretaries [Music] behind the scenes in the entertainment business are 23 000 clerical personnel this number will balloon to 37 000 by 1985 and will encompass a wide range of capabilities some will work as assistance to individual celebrities and others as secretaries to entire production companies secretaries in entertainment can work for radio and television stations motion picture companies record companies professional sports organizations and any number of related enterprises secretaries today can virtually write their own tickets and one area they should look into is that of the 40 major theme parks in the united states which did an estimated 750 million dollars in business drawing nearly double the attendance as professional football baseball and basketball combined that's a familiar greeting to the more than 3 million people who visited hawaii last year to the sheridan hotels on waikiki beach this means big business superb restaurants entertainment of every description lavish reviews dancing and luau banquets receptions and 4531 beautiful view rooms and suites this demands a professional well-trained staff vips like marianne graham maher executive secretary to the general manager of the royal hawaiian hotel marianne is on the telephone constantly with other vips sheridan's guests and coordinates the aloha award for outstanding hotel personnel when the royal hawaiian hotel recently celebrated its 50th anniversary marianne's shorthand notes were included in the time capsule to be recovered in 25 years marianne's skills include 120 words per minute typing as well as 120 words per minute shorthand another vip is su yabiku while in school i was offered part-time jobs doing secretary work for the asl style i continue to work on my business skills and develop shorthand skills of 140 words per minute today i am secretary to the japan area director of sales with the sheraton hotels in the pacific last year nearly 37 million people flew the friendly skies of united airlines the largest airline in the free world united has nearly 50 000 very important employees one of these employees is carol hampton secretary to the manager of in-flight services at los angeles international airport after completing her college secretarial program carol became a flight attendant for united airlines where she flew for six years today carol uses her secretarial training and still enjoys her extensive travel benefits carol's job involves telephone contact with airline personnel and the public shorthand typing and composing correspondence from 100 applicants carol was selected to participate in united airlines management development program more than 23 million passengers arrived at los angeles international airport last year including many well-known celebrities and one of peggy ho's jobs is serving as official hostess and representative for united airlines the very day the camera crew filmed peggy she met marlo thomas helen hayes and the governor of california peggy is a business college graduate who believes her secretarial skills opened important career doors for her at united airlines 10 years ago is big business and employs more than six million people involved in fashion designing advertising retailing modeling and the executive offices at jansen's world headquarters one of the people in the executive offices is pat jensen pat may be supervising the preparation of correspondence and reports for her department handling students request for information about jansen assisting the publication editor as they prepare jansen's employee publication or preparing a special mailing to all jansen stockholders when debbie feller was in high school and taking business classes she had no idea she was going to become an executive secretary today she is the secretary to the national sales manager of the mrs division and also secretary to the marketing director one of the highlights of debbie's position is the planning of the national sales convention which includes people from all across the united states as well as many foreign countries including canada spain france italy and japan take a good look at your career choices that's what patty mcgrath did after four years of college and even one term toward her master's degree if you want your choice of career positions you need to be the best you can be for example many people type 50 or 60 words per minute so patty worked harder and now she types 110 words per minute her work in the marketing department means cooperation with the art department in preparing advertising and sales promotion notebooks featuring jensen male fashions if you're thinking about applying for a job with coal of california two of the first people you'll meet include karen carnevale personnel manager and her secretarial assistant jeanette cassio many of jeanette's responsibilities revolve around the public either in person or on the phone she's usually the first person a prospective employee will meet versatility is the key to jeanette's success whether she's needed at the switchboard at the typewriter or in the testing center karen carnavale began her career very similar to jeanette at the age of 17 karen had secretarial responsibilities in the personnel manager's office of a publishing firm today she is probably one of the youngest personnel managers in the united states if you dream of being a model meet corey friend who has the special distinction of being a coal of california fit model and secretarial assistant for cory this may mean a nine o'clock fitting for a new coal swimsuit to ensure proper line and fit before the suit goes into manufacture at 10 she may be on the phone following through with an assignment from the designer and at three helping prepare sample lines for shipment to any one of cole's many representatives throughout the country rhonda butler began working at coal as a clerk typist today she is the advertising and publicity assistant as you look through national fashion magazines you'll see cole's provocative advertisements rhonda is the one who answers the many letters and phone calls that reach cole in response to the ads typing filing and telephone communications are all part of her day and a very special part right now is putting the final touches on a segment of the johnny carson show which will feature coal of california chanel charlie coke what do they all have in common an enormously professional advertising campaign mccann erickson worldwide is the fourth largest advertising agency in the world headquartered in new york mccann ericsson operates nine full service offices in the united states one of those offices is in portland oregon where sonia vandola is executive secretary to charles heinrich she began her secretarial training in high school and in business college increased her shorthand skills to between 140 and 160 words per minute when asked for characteristics which ensure success sonia recommended that every executive secretary needs to be a pro on the telephone she also needs to be friendly diplomatic and professional company psychotherapy big bucket why not this deadline has found more secretaries attain middle and upper management positions former secretaries like laura braun who have shown an interest in their companies and who have proven themselves in their positions as sales manager with the sheraton laura travels to the west coast on sales trucks and throughout the neighbor islands property meeting with travel agents and becoming involved with special promotions such as golf tournaments tennis tournaments and marathons formerly executive secretary to the general managers of the philippine moana and fort wrider hotel edward wong real estate properties manager for sheridan hotels in hawaii is responsible for negotiating the leases and agreements for 200 boutiques gift shops restaurants discotheques and concessions in the sheridan hotels like many young women today edna's position in an account executive like linda near linda used her secretarial skills to work her way through college her typing and shorthand speeds of over 100 words per minute landed her a job as an executive secretary with the wall street journal from there she came to mccann ericsson as an executive secretary in the advertising research department all right so technical problems there um all right um wife or from my world and so i picked the world anyway uh so i've got a plan b here we did it yesterday lots over i don't know 700 500 uh dvds that i digitized or files that i digitized over the years um so we'll just bring one of these up what should we do [Music] there we go i got something for you um thanks for sharing your lunch with me i kind of did this as a way to uh give you something to do besides looking at the news something to kind of pull your head out of whatever's going on this next film that we're going to watch is um from a show that i did called rod sterling makes a mortgage payment and these are films uh that are narrated or feature rod sterling um in his post outer limits days and maybe in between his outer limits and night gallery days but enjoy [Music] for centuries man has made the conquest of the universe the focus of his aspirations at last he has begun to achieve his dreams and explore what awaits him beyond the familiarity of his own planet it is a limitless dream but from what we now know the new terrains will be similar in appearance to our great deserts even today as man explores the regions of space he returns to find security comfort and beauty in the luxury of his own environment it is an environment of natural abundance which man has been able to mold to his own image and needs my name is rod sterling as a writer i am particularly sensitive to contrasts and contradictions in human behavior occasionally i wonder what it is that drives man to leave the extraordinary beauty of this earth for a journey towards some distant and desolate planet but of course the answer is obvious the desire for knowledge and adventure is insatiable but as the space explorer must leave home so too he must return and when he does his experiences taught him to appreciate what he is left behind what he is left behind among other wonders of nature is something that has been an important and meaningful part of his life since childhood the forest since the beginning of history forests played an essential part in the development of man they have sheltered and fed him and provided him with a continual source of material for the creation of beautiful things let's examine how we have used our technological skills to make the forest a part of our own lives the evergreens or soft woods supply almost all our lumber for construction but it is the leaf-bearing trees or hardwoods which provide us with the woods of great beauty used in fine furniture and interiors as well as a surprising number of other products in our world of mass-produced products and design we look to nature for materials which are immune to imitation nothing from nature brings such lasting enjoyment as the world's great treasure of hardwood trees flowers fade but the beauty of wood ages with increased melaness and richness the eye is pleased the touch is comforted and the mind continually seeking the original and the individual is satisfied by this material so uniquely fashioned by nature hardwood trees come from forests all over the world walnut from our midwestern plains myrtle from the pacific northwest mahogany from tropical america and africa teak from burma from ceylon in india lacewood from australia zebra wood from africa and rosewood from the amazon the list is almost endless elm maple oak pecan birch cherry cativo luan in fact there are more than 90 000 species of hardwoods in the world there is an infinite variety of natural markings and figure patterns and fine hardwoods from the elaborate to the very simple but first the log must be open to determine whether it is suitable for fine veneer veneering is the method of achieving more beauty and greater utilization from hardwood trees in this way the log can produce greater surface quantities from our valuable woods but first an exciting moment of discovery will it be of high enough quality however experienced and skilled the men find the answer to their question only by opening the lot and examining the color and grain of the wood logs that are rejected or later cut into lumber [Music] in the final analysis the beauty of the figure depends largely upon man's skill in anticipating the patterns produced by each log when cut by the various methods a log may produce only unexciting patterns when cut in one way while the same log when turned a few inches and cut at a different angle may develop a delicate much prized figure this piece comes from the trunk other figures are found in the stump the burl and the crotch these variations in the physical structure of the tree are one reason that wood from the same species of tree can look so different the other reason is the ingenuity of man in revealing these variations so the cutting methods are very important the most common is flat slicing which produces a variegated cathedral pattern the half log is mounted against the knife which rapidly slices off layers that run parallel to the axis of the log in the rotary lathe process great sheets roll from the knife like peeling an apple and the pattern is a rippling effect half round slicing results in a cut slightly across the annual growth rings of the tree to produce figure characteristics of both rotary and plane sliced veneer in rift cutting used primarily on oak the quartered log is cut to create a comb-like effect man first discovered the art of veneering some four thousand years ago and although modern techniques have perfected the art to a degree never imagined before the basic concept remains the same the veneer is shipped from the mill to paneling manufacturers furniture makers and other users the veneer slices are kept in their natural sequence so that as they come from the log each slice is almost an exact duplicate of the one next to it various techniques are used to achieve a wide range of handsome effects made possible only by veneer construction this man is book matching consecutive pieces of veneer for cabinet doors he achieves this effect by turning alternate sheets similar to opening the page of a book a repeating pattern is created by slip matching one sheet of veneer to the right of the one beneath it of course the grain and figures of the veneer depend upon the part of the tree from which they are cut as well as the type of cut to the designer of fine hardwood products there is available an infinite number of species figures colors and matching techniques each one individual and striking each one capturing the natural beauty of the forest which defies imitation this is called a diamond match for a tabletop the veneers must now be given a permanence which will enable them to endure through the years man uses his technological ability in preserving what he is so skillfully taken from nature modern adhesives are the essence of modern plywood and are actually stronger than the wood itself veneers are bonded under extreme heat and pressure into plywood panels which are actually sandwiches consisting of an odd number of layers of veneer so that the grain direction of each ply runs at 90 degrees to the grain of the adjacent ply producing a panel with lasting strength dimensional stability and splitting resistance finally the hardwood panels are cut to dimension and sand finishing has two goals to protect the wood and to enrich the natural wood colors in the last few years special coatings have been developed which protect against scratches chemicals in the heat of serving dishes and cigarettes yet still provide the matchless beauty of genuine woods for special purposes hardwood plywood can take on an infinite number of shapes to suit man's wide range of needs from the concert grand piano sturdy yet capable of capturing and amplifying the subtlety of every tone and chord [Music] to the sportsman's golf club which can hit a ball over 100 miles an hour this flexibility of use is only one of many attributes hardwood plywood has strength stability and durability but most important it captures perfectly the naturalness of the world's most beautiful woods hardwood veneers have been used in the great furniture over the ages these pieces were made by craftsmen like chippendale applewhite sheraton who understood the extraordinary possibilities of veneering modern production methods have made it possible for everyone to afford hardwood veneered furniture a luxury once only available to the very rich today almost all of our fine wood furniture is made by the hardwood veneering process because many slices of veneer come from the same log almost identical patterns can be matched within a whole grouping of furniture and yet there is a subtle changing in the figure from one group to another so that each is both original and individual as designs of a new group of furniture develop the ideas for matching the face veneer inlaid borders and other features are sketched and finally reproduced in veneer the field of architecture and interior design is drawing more heavily upon fine hardwood plywood the architects of the new metropolitan opera at lincoln center in new york city selected exotic cavazinger wood paneling all of the valuable properties of wood have been used here from its beauty to its acoustical properties the range of effects which are possible through a complete understanding of the textures colors grains figures and patterns of hardwood plywood is infinite wherever we choose to use fine hardwood our motivation is usually the same to make the natural world a greater part of our own life man has never been able to successfully imitate hardwood figure patterns which are truly nature's masterpieces today more than ever before artisans and scientists have jointly succeeded in making one of man's most ancient materials one of his most modern it offers the economy of many square feet of fine face veneer from one log and therefore the ability to match grain patterns it has strength and stability far surpassing that of lumber it withstands temperature and humidity changes it can be shaped even in this age of synthetics hardwood plywood serve us in a way no other material can houses furniture yes even boats from bow to stern are made from hardwood plywood not surprising considering the virtues of this versatile material man has indeed come a long way in his appreciation of wood since the days when he first used it only for shelter and fuel he has learned not only to surround himself with the beauty of the forest but to shape it to serve his many needs whatever they may be as man ventures into the unknown regions of space he knows that he can always return to the richness and comfort of his own natural world although the demand for hardwood is great man has finally understood the need to conserve this resource which is so vital a part of his life through careful management and programs of reforestation we will always have an abundance of fine heartwoods here on earth whatever awaits us in the limitless world beyond [Music] so great thank you to the hardwood floor association uh for that for paying um rusterling's mortgage that week or that month um so uh yeah i think i'm not gonna do the teleportable telephony um i don't know if you can see there is um the film jammed and then it tore sprockets um this thing was getting shipped back and forth uh the person who made it uh was putting new cameras in it and at some point when it got shipped it got dinged and some pieces of it bent um so now that breaks my heart anyways um yeah so we have so much content that is uh we've digitized uh and a lot of it has not been made live yet so what i'll do is get some of that stuff that we've been digitizing internally at av geeks and pull from that but you guys made some great suggestions about some things that i'll look for so as i talk to you this is always uh yeah why this is again me trying to look and see uh what i've got available and my brain wanders while i'm talking to you so i apologize for that let's see what we got uh somebody wanted some animation so i got some animation for you um wow i got a lot to choose from i'm trying to figure out what's going to work best here let's see yeah i'll go for this um this one is kind of an interesting film um there was uh if you guys watch warner brothers cartoons uh there was the chuck jones who was the the person who made the films he had this series with his kid ralph who was kind of a walter mitty character where he would daydream in class and daydream in life and would place himself in these positions of being an adventurer being a you know like in an airplane like a fighter plane or fighting in a battle or being a pirate or you know whatever and so there were two of those films and this film is the third in this series where ralph has actually grown up and ralph is in the military and ralph is trying to figure out if he wants to re-enlist and this film uh is basically an appeal to people i believe in the army uh to re-enlist why it's valuable for them to re-enlist um what what's in it for them so here's ralph our young redheaded ralph who's now a young adult this is 90 days wandering [Music] [Music] because i was a crazy daydreamer that was always getting in trouble for not paying attention in class because i was bored anyways uh so let's uh let's celebrate a wednesday [Music] so [Music] i studio which is open source broadcaster um software open source beautifully done but sometimes with uh open source software the ui is a little wonky and so that's what's going on here why sometimes you can hear me sometimes you can't um it's it's very versatile in other things but sometimes it's like uh wow it'd be great if we had someone who was working on the user experience a little bit otherwise i love it i think it's really awesome and so kudos to those folks i actually paid them a little bit money to their project because i i like it so much uh okay so yeah skip alzheimer that's me i collect old educational films and show them to folks like you uh normally i have a telecini hooked up in the back and i'm at the archive and i'm pulling films and watching them but uh i am in lockdown mode in a basement in my house i mean i don't stay in the basement all the time it's just that's where i'm set up um in fact i'll probably have to go mow the lawn after this so this show might go on a little bit longer because i'm not looking forward to that um anyways uh thanks for joining me for lunch i wanted to kind of offer a little break in the day for those that are stuck at home to kind of keep you from watching the news which i'm sure you'll tune in on later uh and uh as part of lunch i always try to do something that's food related um i have lots and lots of films about food yesterday in honor of st patrick's day we showed adventures of chip and dip which had some grotesque leprechaun irish stereotypes talking about how nutritional chips were this one we're going to go down um another gimmick uh there's often gimmicks that educational films or industrial films use animation um animals talking animals this one is puppets so this is food doesn't fly enjoy [Music] hey what a game i was great i mean that was really great now where have you been francis i've been looking for you everywhere i searched high and low and hither and yan and a lot of those wild places at the game cornelius this is saturday you know well of course i know i know all that this is the day i'm having the grand opera club for dinner uh oh i forgot i'll bet you did well i just hope is enough time left to practice i managed because i managed to decent practicing oh not manners again you make manners sound like a bowl of soggy cereal look the manners are uh higher what's what's the word i'm searching for here not just the way things are supposed to be done now hurry up and get ready would you and don't forget the hat oh not the top hat francis you'll look fine stunning cornelius this is ridiculous you don't have to dress up for manners i mean especially in an outfit like this now no more arguments now let's get started this is important and you'll go first because you're the biggest help um here you want a biscuit francis oh all right yes quite would you care for a biscuit old thing thank you oh no sing jewel oh no thank you do you i do you not want a biscuit cornelius well yes i do but after you oh no after you i'm sure no please go ahead i can't stand it has it occurred to you at this rate we may never get to eat again by golly you're right francis but i thought this is what you're supposed to do when you got manners the man is on just a bunch of rules there are ways to get along with other people uh what did you say i said ways to get along how did you do that how did he do that did you say that i saw that how did he do it do what as i was saying getting along is what it's all about working together to get things done [Music] there it is again that's remarkable can i see that one again cornicus i know someone who can tell us more about manners oh yeah who one of the guys on the team charlie you know he eats lunch at the school cafeteria and what has that got to do with manners well he told me that many kids eat together hundreds of them if they didn't have manners no one would get to eat i see well that certainly makes sense hmm you know i think i've got it and what are you doing what do you got i will be a newspaper reporter see my cute little outfit now we're gonna go interview your friend and find out just what he knows about manners this should be educational okay let's go you always have to make such a big deal of things cornelius there he is over there by the swing hey jolly hey jolly hey francis what's up manners manners sure what can you tell us about mayonnaise well to me manners means getting along see cornelius i told you like not cutting in line at lunch that's manners well yeah that makes sense what else well why don't you ask my friends oh manos that's just being fair to the people i'm with like at lunch after i eat i throw out my trash the table is clean for the next kid i ate my food instead of throwing it around that's manners instead of yelling and screaming i talk in a normal voice that way we all may get a chance to talk manners it's not that complicated let someone sit at your table even if you don't know him real well hey it's lunch time everybody come on hey it's lunch time already oh good let's follow and watch where did charlie and the gang go i can't say hiding a hair of them they must be washing their hands cornelia you yes yeah here they come now they're getting in line getting in line eh well that makes a lot of sense it's neat too sure be a real mess if everyone tried to get lunch at the same time well it couldn't be done well so far so good everyone has these food and a place to sit with plenty of room uh oh a problem here comes a girl who wants to sit down where they're gonna go put her easy enough well maybe this is what manners are all about i think so cornelius see they're enjoying their lunch there's no food flying in the air no yelling and screaming no chicken it makes sense to me they all have a chance to eat lunch and also to talk it's a very nice situation uh oh she dropped her milk carton hey but she's picking it up a bravo now the next person won't have to sit down at the table clutter with trash [Music] wait a minute where are they going to the trash barrel i bet you look they throw the trash out and then give the trays and dishes to the dishwasher that's certainly a nice bunch of kids what a system all these people get to eat at one time and enjoy their lunch too now that's a nice way to do things cornelius we couldn't even get around to passing the biscuits you know i'm beginning to understand what manners are all about they really are just simple things you agree to do well like i said right there are ways to get along and get things done francis i have to know how do you do that with the lights it's driving me crazy what are you talking about come on cornelius let's get this opera party over with he must be done with mirrors maybe he's got some upper sleeve [Music] hey um yeah that is uh puppets i know some people are afraid of puppets it's kind of funny all right um that was my thing about food uh and directions to help you learn things you are all ears you can hear directions and for them properly now i am going to give you a direction if you want to go to the zoo you must wiggle your ears [Music] please follow directions on how to cross the street if you don't you might get hurt are you listening [Music] first always stop before crossing the street stand still and look to your left then to your right to see if any cars are coming and be sure to listen too remember now stop before you cross the street look and listen for cars and when you are very sure there are no cars coming you may go [Music] susan where's the tablecloth i asked you to bring why didn't you bring it i guess i wasn't paying attention when you said it stan i'm sorry i wish i had listen now what will we do we'll have to sit in a pile of ants for our picnic i suppose no we won't wear the table and chairs i asked you to bring oh no i wasn't listening either when you i remembered to bring the table quiet thank you a wrong way to give them now this is the wrong way ray well you're trying to finish this up just as quick as you can now that's not the way to give directions nobody likes to be bullied this is the right way to give directions ray will you please finish this job just as soon as possible what if you couldn't hear directions some people can't hear sound at all for people who can't hear sound at listening out there [Music] [Music] um that film [Laughter] uh somebody called it nightmare fodder uh yes it is over the top and i showed that film in dallas where that film was made and people were like oh that's at the dallas zoo and ooh i know where that school is and so i actually the next day after i did the screening i we went to try to find the school and i don't know i don't think it was the same one i think that somebody got it confused so somewhere if you're in dallas you know you might know where that school is um where that took place but there's definitely a twang in some people's voices that leads me to believe that it was shot in dallas um i like the overwhelming uh comments and in private messages sent to me to keep me from mowing my lawn today honey the internet has spoken i am not going to mow the lawn today um so yeah i'll wait for the pollen to die down and pollen's really bad down here in north carolina right now and that makes me feel miserable and makes me feel symptomatic which is not a great thing so yes i will uh not mow today and uh somebody said you know keep showing stuff so uh somebody had requested ralph forsberg ralph forsberg uh was a uh religious filmmaker who did some of the most outrageous films um well they're i would say they're not the most outrageous religious films there's certainly the esses perk ron orman stuff uh burning hell etc but uh i would say the thinking person's most outrageous films in this next film it's it's it's long it's more than it's like 30 minutes um and we'll just kind of go out on this um is about a guy who's being stalked by jesus in um amsterdam and it is it's very much uh twilight zone we're kind of looping back around to uh rod sterling twilight zone-esque uh or an outer limits episode it very uh it's it's very odd uh and scary and i actually had a chance to talk with uh ralph forsberg in his living room uh about another film that he made called late great planet earth which scared really scared me as a kid i saw it in the theaters and ran out of the theater in tears and um it's probably the scariest thing i've ever seen it gave me nightmares for a month i had to sleep in my parents room it was really traumatic because it was a documentary about how the world was coming to an end and um so i was freaked out okay so anyways so we're gonna watch stocked uh i'll be back children [Music] to love the unlovely [Applause] [Music] wow thanks for sticking around and watching that ralph forsberg stalked i did actually get to meet him in his living room in california he has since passed on and he was beginning to get into poor health but his mind was very sharp when i talked to him uh thanks to mark quigley for um allowing me to meet him uh mark uh is at ucla and he helped do a uh retrospective ralph forsberg's uh films and so i got to go and have kind of meet ralph and uh confront him about the different films that i had uh and then also about the film that traumatized me as a kid late great planet earth and i for uh stocked i really had to ask him because there is this uh it definitely has the outer limits or twilight zone feel to it and the payoff the payoff isn't quite there for me um and i'm sure there's a lot of lutherans back in the day that were scratching their head going like okay so that guy was jesus and so ralph um isn't lutheran himself he didn't say he was he said he was spiritual but he didn't identify with a particular religious denomination and he was talking about um there was some religious text which is escaping me but it was talking about being hounded by um the dogs of christ or dog something i'm way off here but um basically he said that that's what this is as being he's eventually succumbing to um understanding that jesus died for his sins jesus being a naked dutch man who has been following him around the city and pushed a flaming barrel organ into a canal um and yeah it's it's a fascinating film and i'm happy that you guys got to see it there's other films that ralph has made that are also over the top parable is one which was shown at the world's fair in 1964 world's fair and prompted death threats and um a lutheran minister said he was going to take a shotgun into the theater and blast holes in the screen because it supposedly shows jesus as a um mime clown and people just were not they didn't think that that was appropriate uh anyways ralph is fascinating and i'll probably i'll try to show some more films of his and i've been actively looking for some there's there's one called ant keeper which
