e hello everybody I'm skip alimer welcome to the avgeeks lunchtime streaming show normally I have a little short silent film or foreign language film um but I I ran out of time uh I've been going through a bunch of uh files and films to find stuff that I haven't shown you so uh that actually took longer than I thought um so anyways we watch old 16 millimeter films here and this first film is encyclopedia branica who was our uh good friends who still exist in Chicago although they don't make films anymore um here is what is electric current enjoy [Music] [Applause] la [Music] wa must you blow that horn I can't help it it's stop let's fix it in a car the source of electric current is the [Applause] battery after the horn has been fixed and the battery is properly connected again it permits us to have light heat and power the starter motor is run by electric current from the battery we can also use house current to get light Heat and power but house current is too dangerous to experiment with instead we'll use the battery we have connected some of the same things to the battery that are connected to it in the car headlights a horn and a starter motor we've also included this meter the meter indicates whether or not there is electric current in the circuit when the needle in this meter points straight up the meter reading is zero there is no current in this circuit now why isn't there the answer of course is here there is electric current only when the electricity has a complete circuit to flow through now the electricity has a complete circuit to flow through when the circuit is broken no electricity flows through it when there is an electric current the meter shows it by completing the proper circuit we can cause electricity to flow through the headlights or the horn or the starter motor but can we really see anything flowing through this circuit here is something that we can see flowing and here is a meter that indicates when water is flowing through a pipe the meter reads zero when the flow of water is stopped what happens if we turn on another sprinkler [Applause] too now there is more water flowing through the pipe and the meter reading is higher if we turn on another sprinkler the reading is higher still when you turn something on in this circuit the meter shows a reading turn something else on too and the meter shows a higher reading this meter acts like the meter measuring the increasing flow of [Applause] water this is one piece of evidence to suggest that there is something flowing through these wires that acts in one way at least like water flowing through pipes if something is flowing in this circuit it must go out here and come back here or the other way around let's say for the sake of argument that it flows out through here along the wire through the meter making it give a reading through the closed switch through the headlights making them light and back along the wire to the battery in other words for the sake of argument we're saying that electricity flows out from this post of the battery and flows back in to this post if what we've said is true now the electricity is Flowing out from here through this wire through the lights through the switch through the meter making it sure reading and back to the bat yes the meter shows a reading but in the opposite direction reversing the wires doesn't seem to make any difference to the headlights they light with the wires in either position but look what it does to the meter the meter shows a reading when the wires are attached either way but the reading is in One Direction when they're like this and in the other direction when they're like this there is a similarity between the way the water wheel acts and the way this meter acts which suggests that both are being acted upon by something that flows in the one case water in the other case electricity between this battery and these headlights there are several thousand ft of wire when the switch is closed the circuit will be complete let's assume that when the circuit is completed electricity will flow from the battery out through this wire through the headlights and back through this wire to the battery if this were true we might suppose that this meter would kick over before this one after all the electricity would have to go through all the wire before it gets to this meter let's try it and see no as far as the eye can see both meters kicked over at the same time what does that mean here is a loop of clear garden hose these meters will kick over when water flows through them when this pump is turned on it will pump colored water from this container out through the circuit of hose these two meters didn't kick over at the same time the water flowed through this one first and then through this one now the hose is full of water when we turn the pump on now water will move everywhere in the circuit at just about the same time and the meters kick over at the same time why do these meters kick over together we could explain it in the same way by assuming that whatever it is that's flowing in this circuit is already in the wires the battery would be acting in somewhat the same way as a pump the wires like pipes that are already full of something that can flow the stuff in the wires that can flow is called electric charge when something pushes electric charges and makes them flow then there is an electric current we'll look at another piece of evidence that goes to prove that the electric charges are already in The Wire this meter will kick over when electric charges flow into it when electric charges reach the piece of gold foil in this gadget the foil will move away from its support that doesn't prove the electric charges were in The Wire they could have come from the battery this is a plastic coat hanger and this is a silk scarf you've probably observed that rubbing things can sometimes cause electrical effects somehow the rubbed coat hanger is making electric charges move but the coat hanger doesn't touch the wire the electric charges must already be in the wire the coat hanger pushes electric charges into the meter and onto the foil Leaf When The Hanger is removed the electric charges flow back when something pushes charges and makes them flow you have an electric current don't think that electric charges are found only in such things as wires We Believe today that electric charges are in all materials we believe that any material in the universe has electric charges in in it and there's lots of evidence to back that up don't try this yourself unless you use a weak battery there is electric current in this circuit electric charges in human bodies are being pushed by the battery and made to flow causing an electric current e what happened sorry I'm so sorry I got caught up talking about shelving with uh one of my assistants uh were trying to move everything off site and I was talking to him and I was like oh getting into like well maybe we should do this as a strategy and blah blah blah and I was like oh wait I'm doing a show I'm so sorry hope you weren't waiting long um let's learn about our 50th state Hawaii thank you [Music] [Music] enjoy Swift modern Plains have made a lake of more than 2,000 miles miles of the Pacific Ocean by jet only four or 5 hours separate the volcanic shores of the 50th member of the Union from a mainland of the United States in the air age San Francisco is a neighbor of the mid-pacific city of [Music] Honolulu on a map the Hawaiian Islands are tiny dots distant from everywhere yet they have attracted people from everywhere there are 20 islands in the group but only eight are inhabited large enough to show on this map in Hawaiian Honolulu means sheltered Bay the city affords excellent Harbor on aahu the third largest of the islands large modern vessels that ply the transpacific highway call here 1,500 years ago the first people came to the islands in rafts or tiny boats they came from Asia and Polynesia the nomads of the sea looking for a new place to live that is how the story of Hawaii began in 1958 Honolulu Dock Workers unloaded more than 3 million tons of cargo from around the world for the people of Hawaii construction material Machinery automobiles household appliances clothing though the 50th state has an agricultural economy much of the food consumed by the Islanders comes from across the sea [Music] half the people of all the islands live in Honolulu though far from the mainland the streets of the mid-pacific city are typically [Music] American many families live in two-story apartment houses Garden Apartments and they shop at self-service supermarkets familiar sites in most large American cities but the 50th state adds something new to the heritage of the United States King Kamehameha becomes part of American History he United the tribes of the islands 150 years ago he welcomed settlers and new ideas from east and west today the city of Honolulu is administered by an elected mayor and a Board of Supervisors four members are of Japanese descent one of Chinese one of European tracing his family to the very first settlers is Mr Khan Juke Kahanamoku is also Hawaiian he served as sheriff in Honolulu for many years you may have heard of Duke Kahanamoku he starred as a swimmer at the Olympics of 1912 1920 and 1924 the post office is a busy place in Honolulu with so many people with relatives in So Many Lands there is much mail to be delivered George Hara the postmaster is of Japanese descent the seat of the state government is at Iolani Palace in May 1959 the territorial legislature met for the last time in preparation for full statehood a 25 member Senate and a 51 member House of Representatives had been established to represent a cross-section of opinion of all the people of the islands Hawaii's first representative to the United States Congress Daniel ano and one of her two senators hyam Fang sat in this legislative body with men named Calo Esposito tras Takahashi and kaan the names recall many lands but all these men are Americans Aviation has helped Hawaii come of age the islands have spread out over 400 Mi of ocean four Airlines and 13 airports have almost eliminated distance between [Music] islands with the stewardess we can point out some of the features of Hawaii like the pineapple industry to most Americans Hawaii and pineapples have become almost synonymous Americans themselves introduced the fruit here 50 years ago today 15,000 men and women are employed in Hawaii's pineapple fields and factories most of the crop is canned for [Music] export poultry raising is a secondary industry shigo Mita has 9 acres of land on which he keeps 20,000 friers and 2,000 layers two Hired Hands help him run the farm his wife grades and packs the eggs for Market while their son watches soon he too will be helping the cattle and dairy industries of the islands are growing livestock Farmers keep Pace with all the newest techniques in animal [Music] husbandry irrigation canals lace the fields of sugar cane Hawaii's most important crop when the cane is ripe the field is set a fire the tangle weeds burn but not the stalks full of sweet juice the ground is level enough for tractors to harvest the crop Hawaiian also grow coffee nuts rice CLE bananas and other agricultural products but sugar cane is their major crop and refined sugar their major export [Music] a flight over the islands offers some spectacular [Music] views the stewardess points out the smallest of the islands molini of course it is uninhabited the pilot takes the plane past mounta measured from its base at the bottom of the sea it would be the world's tallest mountain almost 6 mil High the ocean itself provides Splendid and everchanging scenery a perfect setting for all water sports at which Hawaiians Excel the trade winds keep the temperatures mild the sun and the cool breezes encourage all sports Dr Richard Yu whose ancestors came to Hawaii from Korea can be seen among youngsters at the athletic fields in Honolulu his interest in sports and good health go well together he has helped train many weightlifters and long-distance runners now he wants to help women athletes in track and field [Music] events with the coach of the University of Hawaii Moses om he watches trials to pick his State's representatives to the national women's athletic meet one day one of these girls may add to the list of Hawaiians who hold Olympic medals so richly endowed by Nature it is little wonder that the people of Hawaii are deeply religious there are many Buddhists as well as Christians on the islands religious services are conducted in Korean Japanese and Tagalog of the Philippines as well as in [Music] English the 50th state provides free education for 130,000 children almost a quarter of the population of the island [Music] [Applause] [Music] out of Hawaii schools will come her future doctors and farmers and technicians tomorrow's lawmakers and [Music] citizens those who complete High School can go on to one of five colleges on the islands the University of Hawaii was founded 7 years after the Islanders voted to be become territorials of the United States in 1900 today it has an enrollment of 7,000 students its large library has books on every subject in many languages the Oriental collection is particularly large this far western state of the United States has firm roots in the Far East the newspaper Hawaii hoi can be turned from both sides it is printed in Japanese and in English lecturers from anywhere in the world find attentive and respectful audiences at the University of Hawaii in the 50th state east and west and distance have been reduced to words with little meaning statehood does not change Hawaii as much as it changes the United States differences of race religion and culture are enrichments for all Americans it is possible that someday a president of the United States will call Hawaii his home perhaps he is among the students at the University like those adventurers who first found the Hawaiian chores 1500 years ago these young Hawaiians can look forward to unlimited [Music] opportunities so um some information about the United States information service uh that was our or is our uh country's propaganda Wing um there were lots of films books periodicals radio audio generated to talk about how great the United States was to the rest of the world and so in it is actually some fascinating looks at uh the cultures in the individual states stes and cities um all that and the thing was what was interesting is that there was a law that said that these films could not be shown in the United States um for a certain number of years like 30 years or something like that because they were afraid that the message in the film might affect politics or might be propaganda in the United States which is just just crazy um so yes uh someone pointed out that the thing that I show a lot uh the uh 200 uh Cartoon that I show often uh which is a psychedelic look at the bicentennial that was um basically there was a grant for the bicentennial project and they uh gave it out to different filmmakers including this experimental filmmaker uh who did a lot of psychedelic animation and so that became 200 and I think that that got that was actually shown uh because I think was part of a different Grant project but um essentially the uh I've got some other United States information service stuff showing up uh so we'll keep watching keep watching uh this one time is it okay um is made by an oil company about North Carolina and I'm I have not seen it I'm excited to see it um because it shows me what North Carolina looked like maybe in the late 40s early 50s and it's promotional it's called meet North Carolina and the thing is I don't know why an oil company did a thing about North Carolina it makes sense if they do it in in states that have significant oil uh where humble oil is a presence but I don't know this might have been part of a bigger series maybe we will find out enjoy [Music] introducing North Carolina you know they say there's nothing finer and for a fact you'll have to travel far to that's the Ever Changing victorial beauty of the old North [Music] State probably there's no place more beautiful to begin your acquaintance than here on the Blue Ridge Parkway the Skyhigh Avenue that winds along the crest of the Appalachian range for more than a century Travelers have visited this Mountain Country 100 years ago they came on Horseback in stage coaches and aux carts today's Travelers enjoy the same Scenic Vistas traveling in comfort and safety along America's most spectacular Mountain Boulevard there are no trucks or buses on this highway not even a telephone pole to Mar the visitor's View this young couple look happy why not they're on vacation and they've come to North Carolina because they've heard that here they will find all the things they want to do and see all the way from mountain tops to Ocean Shore you know it's not every state that can boast of high ranges and a coastline ideal for swimming boating and fishing what a wonderful way to settle that old old question which shall it be uh the mountains or the sea uh say uh pardon me just a moment will you why sure this is your first visit to North Carolina isn't it that's right don't know much about it but it sure looks fine from here yes it does look fine and we think it is fine you say you don't know much about it so here goes here's where you are right on the top of the greatest mass of mountains in the eastern United [Music] States east of the mountains lies the rolling country of the pedmont beside fine farmlands this section contains most of our big Industries powered by electricity developed from the states abundant water supply Eastward again are the coastal plains one of the richest agricultural regions of the South rich in history too for it was here nearly three centuries ago that the first English colony in America was established a scene very much like this greeted Sir Walter ry's settlers when they first met North Carolina on this exact spot lived that Colony only to disappear Without a Trace leaving a mystery unsolved to this day on Rowan Oak Island during the summer months a dramatization of that mystery is presented it commemorates too the birthday of Virginia Dare first child born of English parents in the new world I baptize thee Virginia in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Ghost amen come man get your a [Music] although this first attempt at colonization was a failure later settlers were successful not far from Rowan Oak Island North Carolina's first permanent settlement was established the town of baath which centers around this old church built in 1690 throughout the state landmarks in its history and progress are one of the most stately of these is Orton Mansion established in 1725 symbolic of an era of colonial Prosperity this Tower overlooks the campus of the University of North Carolina First State University to open its doors in the United States dear to the hearts of all alumni is the old well for 150 years the favored meeting place of undergraduates you know North Carolina seems to have a knack for staying in the headlines of history on Windswept Kill Devil Hill this towering pylon marks the spot where the Wright brothers challenge the skies making the first powered airplane flight proud of its past it is Small Wonder that the capital city of North Carolina is named Raley in memory of those first Brave settlers on ran Oak Island confident of the future the people of North Carolina have built many thriving cities Charlotte the Queen City largest in the state and center of Industry trade and transportation greensboro's strategic central location makes it an important distribution Point tobacco capital of the world Winston Salem Durham is another important tobacco and manufacturing center and it's the home of Duke University one of the most heavily endowed schools in the United States these handsome Gothic buildings set in a spacious campus attract many [Music] visitors the principal Seaport is wilington situated on the cap spere River and the Inland Waterway with Channel and harbor for oceangoing ships in a setting of Emerald Forest and Blue Hills is the city of Asheville high on a plateau between the blue ridges and the Great Smoky Mountains Hub of an extensive resort area it is the Metropolis of Western North Carolina among Asheville's many attractions is builtmore house a chatau that has been called the most beautiful home in America now open to visitors builtmore house contains a treasury of famous paintings and other well-known and historic works of art say that's all right I'd like to see some of those places for myself and there's no reason why you shouldn't but you'll see lots of other things in the state you might like to know something about take that cigarette you're smoking you may not know it but seven out of every 10 American cigarettes come from this state it begins here here fields of green growing tobacco stretching from the pedmont through the coastal plains in late summer scenes like this are on every hand Farmers harvesting the state's most profitable cash crop stripping the matured leaves from the stocks at this busy season the whole family and all the neighbors turn out to prepare the valuable crop for Market the leaves are made into hands the hands are strung onto sticks ready to be placed in the tobacco barns where the leaves will be cured by the heat from wood or oil [Music] fires this curing gives the tobacco the characteristic golden color which means Market time money in the bank the necessities and the Comforts of of life for the whole Farm family in the town of Wilson The Traveler may visit the largest bright leaf tobacco market in all the world he may even see and hear one of the famous auctioneers as he conducts a tobacco sale and here's an option in progress let's watch and listen Imperial 50 22 [Music] [Applause] [Music] 5050 459 [Music] $60 long years of careful aging are still necessary before this tobacco will be ready for final processing [Music] and then in huge factories in Winston Salem Durham and Reedsville a long process which started in the fields culminates in the manufacturer of best known brands of cigarettes and smoking tobacco this Factory ships an entire train load of cigarettes every day of the year and brother that's a lot of smoking there's another interesting angle to this cigarette business most of the paper used in cigarette manufacture comes from this large modern plant a nationwide search for water of unexcelled Purity ended here on the banks of the sparkling Davidson River near bravard domestic flax and pure water are essential items in the production of this super highquality paper [Music] the big rolls are cut into little ones each of these small rolls contains enough paper for 85,000 cigarettes fishing is one of the more important occupations along the coast strangely enough the most important catch is not primarily a food fish but the fabulous menhaden always found in enormous schools these fish seem to favor the North Carolina Shore as a result an important Marine industry has been developed based on the valuable oil extracted from the Manhattan oil used in soaps in paints used as a lubricant as a medicine and is a sizing for textils even the residue is valuable as a high protein stock feed and for fertilizers [Music] well I guess it's true most everywhere old and young alike go for goobers or crisp freshly roasted peanuts North Carolina grows her own with a good share for the rest of the country the lomy soil of the coastal Plaine is dotted with hundreds of fields in Early Autumn the tuber Laden Vines are taken from the ground and stacked to dry later harvesting equipment moves into the fields to separate the nuts from the dried [Music] Vines The Vines are bailed and become an important and highly nutritious addition to the diet of farm herds peanuts themselves are made into dozens of products and hundreds of byproducts but the most familiar form is old man peanut himself roasted to a golden tasty Brown just peanuts you say yes but peanuts are big business in North Carolina more North Carolinians earn their livelihood from the manufacturer of textiles than from any other industrial Endeavor the state grows a lot of its own cotton and it's a good customer for its cotton growing [Music] neighbors the poliy bowls are transformed into yarn and the yarn is woven into colorful Fabrics eventually to appear on markets around the [Music] world here's another kind of weaving one that might interest the ladies the manufacturer of nylon hose [Music] this is uncolored nylon awaiting only the magic of chemistry to produce the Myriad Shades to please any lady's fancy Burlington is the hosery capital of the South there and in many other cities this most glamorous item in the feminine wardrobe is produced in millions of units the traveler in North Carolina will see everywhere evidence of the state's Chief natural resource over half of the state is forested and these forests contain the largest reserve of hard woods remaining in this country [Music] [Applause] [Music] hundreds of thousands of Acres of the best lands have been set aside as preserved where scientific lumbering and reforestation assure a never failing supply of this essential material [Music] Mills like this consume a large part of the output of the forests for conversion into paper products of many kinds perhaps the paper on which your favorite magazine is printed came from this very Factory besides paper and paper products over 3,000 manufactur making everything from rayon to radio cabinets depend on the forests of North Carolina for their raw material supply Chief among these industries is the manufacturer of finished Wood Products centered at High Point and Lenor this state leads all others in the fabrication of Fine Furniture here's an interesting operation this multiple Carver enables one operator to shape 24 identical pieces at one time [Music] wood from the hills Fabrics from the Mills plus the skilled craftsmanship of the old North State combined to make furniture that is really fine furniture that one day May Grace your living room [Applause] I guess that's enough education for a while you got a long way to go you better get on without [Music] vacation all right Mr traveler what's your pleasure is it the scenery you're after modern highways will take you past cascading streams and Spark waterfalls to Azure Lakes rimmed by high hills to spectacular Chimney Rock with breathtaking views to the very top of Mount Mitchell highest point in the Eastern Mountain range or up the knockout punch if meeting Bears or footing at aren't your ideas of fun you may prefer the Comforts of one of the many modern resort hotels or lodges with sports and recreation right outside the [Music] door something more modest many visitors prefer a cozy mountain cabin this one is near Fontana Dam highest water barrier in the East this huge structure creates only one of dozens of lakes providing water sports and year- round fishing for vacationists if you're a real traveler you'll be interested in the folk ways of the Hardy people who populate this state in the shadow of old grandfather a yearly Festival known as singing on the mountain bring Spectators and contestants from all the South Appalachian range young and old alike turn out to hear the ancient Ballads of the hills like the old songs the old ways of doing things persist in many homes the products of the modern textile industry of North Carolina mean little to this elderly lady like her mother and her grandmother she cards and Spins her own yarn to make garments for her [Music] family yes strange as it seems the people of North Carolina who have led the south in development of machine Industries have maintain their pride in fine hand workmanship the carving of beautiful and quaint figures from Hardwoods is only one of the many handcraft skills old-fashioned drudgery you say not at all within 100 miles of Asheville more than 3,000 persons make all or part of their living from the creation of examples of fine handicraft eagerly sought by Travelers as treasured momentos of their visit momentos ranging from the humorous to the sublime say this is a pretty scene looks like one of our vacationing friends and sure enough it is I guess she doesn't realize that outfit she's wearing would scare any respectable trout a mile down stream hey what's this looks like she's hooked one and she has well it just goes to show you North Carolina stream are kept so well stocked that even an Amer angler has a chance the state even reserves one trout stream exclusively for women fishermen um wonder where her husband is well no sooner said than [Music] done hey what's he up to anyway M looks like a little campfire cookery in progress let's go over and see what gives trout on the fire Beauties [Music] too and hot biscuits hey this lad is quite talented or if picnicking is more in your line boating and aquaplaning round out the vacationist package of pleasure let's leave the mountains for a while and drive down through the rolling pedmont into the Sand Hills once an ancient sea covered this country and left behind it the characteristic Dunes of golden sand The Dwelling Place of the stately long leaf pine of Holly and Dogwood for reasons unexplained by science the Sand Hills enjoy an unusually mild climate crisp cool nights Sunny brilliant days so it's no wonder that for half a century this region has been a popular winter Resort and it's no wonder too that golfers flock to these resorts in such numbers because even when it showers the Thirsty sand absorbs the water so quickly that in a matter of minutes a forsome can resume play many of today's famous players won their first recognition in tournaments on these Championship courses riding fox hunting tennis and other Outdoor Sports can be enjoyed almost every day the 300 M Coastline presents two distinct Realms of exploration the Outer Banks comprise a Maritime Wilderness appealing strongly to The Adventurous Sportsman and to those who would leave the Madding Crowd behind rough Trails lead to hatus and okra Co graveyard of the Atlantic where many a brave ship has met disaster Coast Guardsmen stationed on this Windswept bar have been awarded more Congressional Medals of Honor per capita than any other group the little fishing Village of hatus looks peaceful indeed and it is peaceful no police no sheriff and not even a jail but the fishing it's wonderful in contrast to the isolation of the outer banks are the easily accessible Beach Resort Sun and Sand and the tumbling surf make these popular playgrounds [Music] [Music] there's fishing here too in the surf if you [Music] like or try your luck from a but some Sportsmen take to the Open Seas and there in the Indigo Waters of the Gulf Stream await challenging amberjack fighting dolphin The Vicious Barracuda Sero sailfish Bonito and the incomparable blue Maron the growing Legion of small craft sailormen finded in North Carolina's sounds and rivers many hospitable waters for their graceful sport if you like a little more speed you might try this one on for size better practice up a while first though it's not as easy as it looks if you're wondering how to get off these things just watch simple isn't it a still more speed here it is and plenty of it on one of North Carolina's many broad Rivers [Music] just as we saw in the mountains there's plenty of scenery in other parts of North Carolina in fact the scenery along the beach is unusually [Music] pretty and look who's taking in all this scenery it's our friends again they've done what they set out to do and in one vacation they've had a glorious week in the mountains and another week of sunshine and fun on the seashore wonder how they liked it uh tell me have you enjoyed your Tar Heel vacation we sure have and we really met North Carolina I'm glad you did I knew you'd like it because for fun in winter summer spring or fall North Carolina has them all oh woohoo um so yeah we're based in North Carolina based in Raleigh uh and not too far from the capital buildings that you saw we probably a 30 minute walk from there um 5 minute drive from there um I used to do well actually uh starting again in um next year I'm going to continue doing uh screenings at the science museum there the North Carolina uh Natural Science Museum and um well I show feature films but I always show a film from my collection and it's a lot of fun uh the last one we showed was uh Men In Black which was hilarious and insane um and we have experts that answer questions Loosely related to the science there but um it's a lot of fun and it's right down near the capital uh yeah so humble oil I guess it a series of these about different states in the Union uh and uh a lot of that stuff still kind of holds true although furniture manufacturing has faded a lot there's still some that exist kind of in High Point uh area hoser is almost entirely gone um China the or other countries um agriculture tobacco is still made cotton still made sweet potatoes there's a lot of sweet potatoes made and there's a lot of pigs raised in rural North Carolina um golf is still a thing what else I don't know there's there's more stuff uh Pharmaceuticals actually that's grown uh in tech companies have actually grown um because of Research Triangle which I think which existed after this film was made but um oh yeah and a Geeks is based there so there's a bunch of 16 mm films uh sitting in seven storage units in Raleigh um and uh yeah so if you're actually based in the area uh a friend of mine Robert Austin is showing uh at Kings which is downtown Raleigh uh showing a bunch of movie trailers like outrageous 7s 80s movie trailers um so uh that's at starts at 8:00 I think doors open at 7 but I'll be down there and um yeah come on down and maybe I'll see you and we can say hi in person um other wise come back tomorrow and I'll try to be more attentive to what's happening on the stream as far as like what time is it oh yeah I'm still doing a show um and we'll show you some more films um yeah I hope you like uh we've been mixing mixing and matching stuff uh I'm not using the scanner uh for this week because we're doing so much stuff off site that I don't have any films on site uh anymore that don't basically I have to to do a lot of work uh to get them on the scanner so uh next next week we'll start doing that again but uh thanks so much for tuning in uh we will see you tomorrow if you like what you saw hit the thumbs up or the like button though even if you've done it before even if you did it yesterday do it again uh you can also uh support us financially by using the super thanks button which will float Us in cash that we will use to buy uh cores but really we'll end up using to pay rent on seven storage units um you can also go to ko-fi.com avgeeks or patreon.com avgeeks those are great ways to support us and we will see you tomorrow every have a great rest of your day thanks uh some of you for uh chiming in I have some of the I see some new names that I haven't seen in a while so we'll see you soon bye for
