Mhm. >> Mhm. >> Mhm. >> Hello everybody. I'm Skip Altimar. Welcome to the AV Geeks Lunchtime Streaming Show. Where we watch all the 16 mm films. And man, the artwork in that filmstrip. Love it. So much. So great. Um and as I mentioned in the comments, feel free to use that for tattoos. Uh I'm not a tattoo person because I have freckles, which are nature's tattoo. All right. Um so we have these boxes of foreign language films that showed up. And uh so we've watched uh Spanish ones. We've watched two different French ones. Here's a German one. Enjoy. >> Good times. Good times. Uh all right. Uh Spiegel um I don't know if this was related to the newspaper Der Spiegel or magazine Der Spiegel, but um some great footage in there. Good times. In 1970s uh Germany. Um this one's missing a title, but it's called dog show. We think. >> really begin. For he's a big family man with many responsibilities. But mothers don't make such fall by herself, so a cunning little nurse willingly helps. Truly a dog's life from now on, but he takes it like Growing little boys and girls develop big appetites. So again, necessity becomes the mother of invention. Don't crowd, for there's plenty for all and plenty waiting. Come and get it. The line for ice, and they don't have to be coaxed even a little bit. And so mother gets a deserved rest. So goes ala canine and what a meal. After dinner time comes snooze time with dreams perhaps about sleeping, jumping, and more dinner tomorrow. These are funny little fellows as curious as you are to know what it's all about. What in summer heat or winter chill, babies arrive just the same. Keen for lots of food, crisp air, plenty of vigorous exercise, little pups will soon be living up to their name. Huskies, that's what they are. It's mush, mush, mush over the wind-swept frozen waste of the Arctic. Speedy dog teams, the never-failing transportation for northern lands of long winters and deep snows. A dog is the children's best protector, a big strong Newfoundland or just a little spaniel. The dog is truly man's best friend, always on the watch for trouble, true companions, faithful guardians. When he sleeps, it's with one eye open, always on guard. Where is there a lad who doesn't love a dog? And where is there a dog that doesn't love a lad? And ice cream, too. Share and share alike, well, for a little while, anyway. Then complete understanding between a good boy and an ever-faithful pal. Fast-moving automobiles are always a danger to dogs on the highway. A tragic accident, a grim lesson to puppies that run away and to their owners, too. See that this doesn't happen to your dog in the heavy traffic of today. It's the end of thousands every year. But save your tears, it isn't as bad as it looks. This time it's a trained dog that lies motionless until his master says, "Up." But he teaches an important lesson. All dogs cannot boast of private swimming pools. It's a swan dive, canine style. A double header with the pup showing top form, but the best part seems to be getting out. The blue bloods of dogdom, the show of shows. Here the best in the world parade for the highest kennel. Setters stand at attention while Bedlingtons look sheepish as the judges note their points and pick the winner. French poodles, the fanciest dogs in the show. Although years ago they were considered to be high in the retriever class, now they get all trimmed up and are they proud? A study in streamline beauty, the Great Dane. A head that denotes kindliness but determination. Then some low boys that are always friendly, the dachshund. No streamlining here, but prize winners everyone. Wait a minute, you're not through yet. The small terriers are important. A study in black and white, the noble shaggy shepherd. A non-beauty contest of English bulldogs. All groomed up and ready to look ferocious. Why don't they seem fierce? Really though, they're one of the kindliest dogs known. But you'd better treat them kindly, too. The aristocracy of dogdom, the Russian wolfhound from the court of the czar. Dogs of all breeds, all colors, all sizes. Ugly dogs, pretty dogs. And of course, a feature of every show, the largest and the smallest. It's hard to believe that they belong to the same family. Now for a real dog show, A wagon full of star performers ready to do odd tricks. Everyone rearing to go. Line up and inspection come first. All up and steady. Attention, please. Get set. Okay. Introducing the now you see me, now you don't dog. Here is He's it. And he's playing hide and seek all by himself. Now light-footed Admiral. Steady boy, for there's many a slip, but he seems to know his step. Next Happy ascends without the help of wires. Right on up to the top to win a great big hug. Maybe that's why he doesn't mind the trip. Now for Flippo, a whirlwind on four legs. Turning with timed action and absolute balance to land on his feet. He's a wire-haired to be proud of. The retriever is the sportsman's dog. In action he stands at rigid attention until given the signal to go. Soon he's on his way back with the prize. The retriever has been taught to hold the bird tenderly and to fetch it without harming a feather. But the dog of all dogs for sport is the hound. Here is a pack of the finest in any land gathered around the gate. The shrill bugle sounds across the countryside and off they go over hill and rolling dale with the eager riders following behind. The real hunt thrills begin as they near the quarry. These hunters are not out to kill. They seek only to stalk their game and bring it back safely and unharmed. A beautiful creature of the wood swimming to be free. But the well-trained dogs have the scent and they are hot in pursuit. Soon he is surrounded. There is no escape. Thus a day of regal sport such as the gentry has enjoyed since the Middle Ages. When day is done dogs, like their masters, must like good people, say prayers before retiring. >> That film was a mess. I'm sure that it was popular uh when it was shown by um probably substitute teachers and the uh head and the tail were shredded. Not by the dog, but by the um uh projector. All right. Uh somebody mentioned that uh Spiegel means mirror. And coincidentally, I have this film set up. Uh Y2K or Y2Cracker uh sent me an email and found the production music song that we heard yesterday in one of the films. And I was like, "Oh, I know this film. It's It's in a um What's a little Whitaker? uh Church of Latter-day Saints film. I can't remember it and so I found it. Um and uh Krenkel found the uh the film. It was it's in the Prisoner soundtrack. Prisoner the TV show. Um so both of those are mind-bending. Me Mirror Mirror, which you're about to see, and of course the Prisoner. Enjoy. >> Come here, look at this one. Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all? >> Not you, fatso. >> You want to play? Ha, that'd be a laugh. >> Why not? Why the leading man's supposed to be young, handsome, witty, irresistible to women? Why when I read that, I knew it was me. Naturally. Plus, there're 15 girls I'll be first in line at the tryouts. Now speaking of girls, where they all hanging out now? >> Ask Dave. He's like a tiger counter. >> Swimming pool. Let's go. >> Let's go, ladies. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Just a moment. >> Oh, hi Larry. Did you have fun? >> Yeah. I had fun. Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the biggest lousy nobody of them all? >> I don't know. Who? >> Now I am cracking up. >> Now, don't run for the aspirin, Larry. Everybody knows that mirrors don't talk, except in Snow White and maybe when somebody needs very much to talk to himself. >> So, who are you? >> Just a mirror. Any old mirror. And I came to show you a few things about yourself. >> Well, forget it. I'm sick of looking at me and being me. Why don't you turn me into a pumpkin or something? >> Nah, you wouldn't look good in orange. And now back to your original question. Who is the biggest lousy nothing of them all? >> Me. >> Says who? >> Says everybody. >> Oh, I've heard them. All your life. Remember? >> Larry, hand me that other bucket of paint. You stupid, clumsy kid. Can't you ever do anything right? >> And then there was the time >> Witches, rich, hammer, lard, runt, goner, wrestle, lard, David Schwimmer. Guess I'm stuck with you. >> And only yesterday, Larry. >> I'm through expecting anything out of you. Disappointments, that's all I get. You'll never amount to a thing, not a thing. >> What did I tell you? >> Do you believe in Larry? >> Got no reason not to believe it. It's the story of my life. >> Around here, Larry. You are. Why, you're nothing but a reflection of what other people expect of you. And what you've come to expect of yourself. So, you have been a loser. You don't need to stay that way. >> No. >> You decide what you can be and want to be. Then, go ahead and be it. >> Boy, are you from the fairy tales? That doesn't happen in real life. I've got nothing. I'm a 17-year-old runt that looks like he's 15. >> A factory reject, huh? Don't kid yourself, Larry. If you could only see the possibilities within you. And don't go laying it all to your environment, either. I see too many people curl up and die just because they feel the world dealt them a bad hand. They feel sorry for themselves. That's why they don't have to face up to things. Is that what's happening to you, Larry? >> Are you saying I'm a coward? I'm not. I just don't have what it takes. >> What do you mean, Larry? I've been looking at you for years. And I've seen some pretty good things. >> Like what? >> Well, you're loyal. You're sincere in the things you do. You're cooperative, helpful. You've got lots of potential. >> Yeah, but what have I really done? >> Larry, if you could only remember the positive things like you do the negative ones. What about last week in shop? >> Oh, great. >> Hey, Larry, come here, will you? How do you make these miter joints fit? I don't get it. >> Oh, it's not so hard. It's all in getting started right. Now, first, you've got to make sure the saw is on a 45° angle. >> Oh. >> Hey, look, I've got a class right now, but I'll tell you what, I'll meet you here after school and we can take care of it then, okay? >> Will you? >> Sure. >> Gee, thanks, Larry. >> Nobody's as hard on you as you are, Larry. Take what happened in the pool today. I know those guys weren't trying to be mean. They just wanted a little fun. >> So, what do I do? >> Here's one thing, Larry. Try not to let other people decide what you're going to be. Don't let your own fears and past failures decide either. You decide. And then you go ahead and try. Try hard. So, you fail sometimes. Don't react to it. Act on it. Decide what you can do and do it. >> But how? >> Come on, you guys. >> It's hard, isn't it, Stevie? It's the guy who's driving us too long. >> George, push. Push. >> That's right. >> You need some help? >> Sure. Know where I can find any? Come on, Larry. Grab hold on Dan's side. My 85-year-old grandma is stronger than he is. Come on. >> Come on. Come on. Come on. >> Oh. I didn't see you. >> Hi. >> Do you want to take it, Larry? >> How come you know my name? >> Well, why not? You go to school here, don't you? >> Yeah. But you're a student body officer and I'm just >> I was in your English class last year. Don't you remember? >> Sure, but I didn't think you would. >> Well, of course I would. I just liked your built from committee was really great. >> I must have taken hours and hours. >> Oh, it wasn't too hard. I think it was the only thing that kept me from flunking English. How come you're out here? >> Uh somebody has to do the dirty work. It's part of being an officer. >> I thought officers just wore sweaters and had meetings and stuff. >> Hardly. You don't come to these dances much, do you? >> No, I'm pretty tied up with Um I'm pretty tied up. >> They're lots of fun. >> Actually, I'm not too good at dancing. >> Contests, huh? >> No, I'm just not very good at it. >> Well, then now's a good time to improve. There are a lot of extra girls in there. Usually are. >> Yeah, but I don't know if they'd want to to dance with me. >> What do you have, leprosy? Now look, there are only a couple of dances left, so I'm going to let you earn your ticket by doing a good deed. There's a girl in here that I happen to know would just love it if somebody asked her to dance. Now you don't have to marry her. You don't even have to take her out. Ask her to dance, okay? And um say something nice. >> Here's one thing, Larry. Try not to let other people decide what you're going to be. Don't let your own fears and past failures decide, either. You decide. And then you go ahead and try. Try hard. >> Now why do you want to go and do a thing like that for? >> I know he didn't mean to. He was up all night studying for the exam and I guess he just wasn't thinking. >> That's the trouble with kids these days, they just don't think. >> They don't what? >> Think. >> All right, read it that way. >> That's the trouble with kids these days, they just don't think. I've taken just about all I can from the whole lot of them. >> I'll tell George what you said. I'm sure he'll be more careful. >> All right, now relax. Take it from the top and I want both of you to think. And give me some beer. >> Now why do you want to go and do a thing like that for? >> I know he didn't mean to. He was up all night studying for the exam and I guess he just wasn't thinking. >> That's the trouble with kids these days, they just don't think. I take it just about all I can from a whole lot of them. >> I've told George what you said. I'm sure he'll be more careful. >> And you can tell him that if this ever happens again, I will personally mop the floor with him. >> Aw, come on. You can't mop up the floor with anybody sounding like you missed your breakfast. >> And you can tell him that if this ever happens again, I will personally mop the floor with him. >> All right, next two. Okay. >> George, if only you weren't so impatient. >> That's the only way you can get anywhere in this world. If you wait your turn in anything, you get right up to the ticket window and the door flies closed in your face. >> I see. It's like that in everything, huh? >> Right. Everything except you. You're the only person that's given me a fair deal. I don't know what I'd do if you turned against me. >> I won't, George. I couldn't. >> All right. Dave and the next girl. Hold your applause, please, until we're through. You know what I think I'm going to do when I get out of this crummy place? >> What? >> First thing, I'm going to buy me a car. >> You can't afford a car. What kind? >> I don't care as long as it's fast. For as long as I can remember, I've had to crawl, but pretty soon I'm going to do nothing but fly. >> That can get to be dangerous, George. >> Good. A little danger let you know that you're alive, and that's what I want to be, alive. >> Okay. Okay. >> You there, you trying out? >> I'm just >> Yes. I'm trying out on stage. H36 George says, "Never mind, etc." Never mind. I don't want their help. I don't want anybody's help. >> Sounds to me like he needs a little help. >> But, George, they only want what's best for you. That's all any of us want. >> Just leave me alone, will you? It's my life and I'll live it myself. >> Great. Scott had another one missed his breakfast and lunch, too. Take it again. >> Then, just leave me alone, will you? It's li- my >> Okay, check the bulletin board on Friday. No, you wait there. >> Sure. Go ahead and do what you want to do. Don't let other people decide what you are. So, now are you satisfied now I'm the biggest fool around? >> Larry, I'm proud of you. >> Yeah, I was great, wasn't I? >> You were trying. And that's worth a lot. Ah, Larry, if you could just look into people's faces and minds the way I do and see what's really there, you wouldn't feel so alone. Everybody has problems. >> Like Dave, he's really insecure, isn't he? >> Okay, you take a look at her. >> What am I doing here anyway? I never was too hot at this drama stuff. And if I don't get the part, they'll never stop laughing at me after all the bragging I've done. They're probably laughing at me right now. Wish I were out of here. Well, here goes. >> Few things are exactly what they seem, Larry. >> But Barbara, she isn't that way. She's got everything. >> Maybe not everything. But what she does have, do you think she was born with? Just a few years ago, you wouldn't have envied her. Watch. >> 22. 23. 24. Hold it. Sorry, not enough poise. >> She just didn't give up. Barbara didn't have a mirror helping her out. But she had friends, haters. She went to the school counselor. She got to know herself, found the good things in her, and started using. She volunteered for things, tried out for things. Oh, she had some setbacks. Everybody does. But the smart person, when he finds something that he can't do, he adjusts. He turns to something that he can and doesn't stop till it's done. There are moments of proving, Larry. And I think you're at one of them. Sometime for everyone, mirrors must turn to windows. >> Well, what do I do? >> Well, they're trying out my helicopter would be >> Oh, I should have I did the part of Nancy. >> Oh, you're a riot. >> Oh, what a long time. >> Oh, help I'm getting into trouble. >> Oh, Mr. Vance. >> Hi. Grueling, aren't they, these tryouts? Hold these, will you? >> Yeah. Look, Mr. Vance. I know I didn't do too hot in there a little while ago, and well, what I was wondering is if maybe I could help with the scenery or something. I've done quite a lot of building things. >> Great. I never could build anything. Have you done any designing? >> Oh, a little. >> Would you like to try? >> Sure. >> Well, we'll see what you can do. Don't be discouraged about that tryout, Larry. Most everybody who got anywhere had it rough in the beginning. But if you want to help with the set, that's where we really need you. Now, this whole thing takes place in a modern California setting. >> All right. Let's take it again, kids. This time, George, I want you to hold your position >> When am I supposed to come in with the flower pot? >> Not until the detective leads the room. Now, there's a set. >> Larry, I didn't know you could build that. >> Do you think you could do that and fill up this stage? >> I believe I could. >> Sure. I'll pick you up. >> Good. >> That's a good job, Larry. That mirror is a cute touch. How'd you think of that? >> It's kind of a friend of mine. >> So, that film was in that first big collection of 500 films that I got back in 92. And it was so good. Like that film was like, "This is nuts. This is really, really crazy." Um and I found other BYU films uh that are good. There's Never a Bride. There is um uh Cipher in the Snow. But I still love Mirror Mirror. Um because you just the kids on the on the the verge of madness because he is talking to this weird voice that is in the mirror. Um but the other film that I got lined up here is another one that was part of that first batch that I got. And this one is is really nuts. And so, these are films that I showed as part of a one of my first like straight on shows that I did. I did some ones with multiple projectors initially, but this is one that I did where I was like this is films in this show we call it social engineering 101 and these were films on how to fit in. Uh but this film is specifically trying to talk about in a positive way, a progressive way the psychological differences between the sexes. And this film is infuriating. I love this film so much. People get so mad at this. Um because they don't really talk about why is is the psychological difference is because it's just the that's how girls think and that's how boys think or is it is it because of the cultural things like who knows. Anyways here it is. Super annoying, super triggering psychological differences between the sexes. Enjoy. >> Everyone is aware that the differences between the sexes go beyond obvious physical factors. For example, there is the difference in muscular strength. Automatically, the man will do any heavy work that needs to be done. Both the girl and boy understand that he is better equipped for such work than she is. They also realize that there is a difference in the roles which society expects them to play. And so, she will be sympathetic if he is hurt. But she realizes as well as he does that men aren't expected to fuss over a little pain the way a woman might. Seldom do such mutually acknowledged differences lead to problems. But many misunderstandings might be avoided if young couples were aware that there are other ways in which the sexes differ. Psychological and emotional ways which may be subtle, but are nevertheless important in any man-woman relationship. For instance, Jane doesn't know that she has a different attitude toward people than Jim has. She hasn't been going with him long enough for her way to clash with his. But to understand her way, you should see it in action. Not long ago, Jane had a problem involving a friend who, frankly, didn't bathe as often as she should. This is how Jane handled it. >> Hi, Gwen. >> Hi, Jane. Oh, um Gwen. >> Yeah? >> Last time we were at gym, I ran out of deodorant and I was going to borrow some from you, and I saw you didn't have any in your basket, either. So, since I had to get some for myself, I got some for you, okay? It's supposed to be real good. But you have to use it every day after your shower. >> All right, I'll try it. >> Indirectly and subtly, using a roundabout method, Jane tries to get her point across in a woman's way. And if she hadn't gotten it across this time, she'd have tried something else, equally indirect. But the last method she would think of would be a direct or blunt way that might hurt Gwen's feelings. Now let's see how a similar problem might be handled by Jim. >> Yeah, if he thinks he's going to overlook the rule about taking a shower at this time, the treatment. >> I'm for that. The air in this school's as much ours as it is his. He's polluting it and that's going to come to a screeching halt. I have to sit beside him in history next hour. >> Tell us. >> Well, I practice that hook shot so long I don't have time to take a shower. >> Hey! Hey, you! What are you doing? What are you guys doing? >> Next time you have to be told to take a shower, we may be forced to get a little rough. >> Direct action. That's the man's approach. The one Jim and other men understand. Even the fellow whose feelings are most directly involved. There's another difference between the sexes which can be used to illustrate the gulfs that must be bridged before a girl and boy really understand each other. And that difference lies in their temperaments. >> You ready for your surprise? Okay, dessert. First set your eyes. I bet you didn't even know I knew today was your birthday. >> Gosh, no. Thanks. What's the matter? >> Oh, nothing. I just sort of thought you might want to save it. As a souvenir of the first time we celebrated your birthday together. >> Oh. Oh, oh yeah. Sure. >> In general, women place much more importance on romantic symbols. Men on the other hand generally have to work at being romantic, remembering birthdays and anniversaries, surprising their wives and sweethearts with little gifts. We know that Jane is romantic and sensitive to other people's feelings. Well, she is equally sensitive about herself. Touchy is the word a man might use when it comes to interpreting a harmless remark as one that is directed personally toward her. >> Jane. >> Hm? >> What do you think of that new girl Susan, what's her name? >> McCarty. I don't know. I don't know her very well yet. Why? >> Oh, I was just wondering if she was going to fit in, you know. >> Yeah. Yeah, I guess I do a little. She seems sort of standoffish. >> Except at the table. Wow, how she eats. Stuffing it in, smacking, making all kinds of noise. You think she'd know better. >> Okay, Gwen. Well, I can take a hint. By making noise eating, why don't you just say so? >> Jane personalizes comments, immediately saying to herself, "Am I like that?" And since she is human and quite likely to be like that, she assumes the comment was really meant for her, even though such a thought was far from Gwen's mind. And how about Jim? Is he likely to be different from Jane in this matter of applying general comments to himself? Let's see. >> As far as I'm concerned, Toliver's out. I don't want him on a double date, particularly the awards banquet. We're not slated to get any awards, but Toliver will. He's a whiz. >> So what? He's a slob. >> His clothes look like he spilled half his dinner on them. >> Just what I've been saying. Toliver's out. >> Men usually do not take general comments personally. "That's Toliver to a T." Jim says, "and it never occurs to him that general remarks may have been aimed at him." And of course, they were not. When Jim, direct in dealing with others, is paired off with Jane, with her typically female qualities of being indirect, romantic, and subjective, life may not always be the picnic it is at the moment. >> And that's why I have to be home by 6:00. Big family get-together. All the grandparents invited over. Boy, my mom's really making a big production out of my birthday. And I'd just as soon spend the evening with you. >> Love the other evening. Your mother would be disappointed if you're late. >> Why don't you come with me? We can call your mother from my house. >> But Jim, I can't. I'm not dressed for a party. >> You look swell to me. Come on. >> But Jim, I haven't been invited. What would your mother think? >> What do you mean you haven't been invited? I invited you. >> I can't just walk in on her at the last minute. She'd have table arrangements to do over again, everything. >> She won't care. Come on. >> Jim, I can't. She will too care if someone comes in who isn't expected. Besides, I don't have time to get ready, and I can't let your folks see me like this on a special occasion. >> What's so special? I've had lots of birthdays. >> What's special is not really the occasion so much as it is what people will think. Girls must be continuously aware of the impression their actions or appearance might create. Things a fellow can get by with won't do for his girl. Men should be aware that this attitude of society he problems for women, and indirectly for the men who love them. If we could go with Jane and Jim into the future, supposing that their attraction to each other develops into love and they are married, we could see how misunderstandings based on the differences between the sexes might affect them. >> Say I saw Bill Noble as I was leaving the office. He wants to look at those plans I've been working on here at home. He and Lil are going out tonight, and he said they'd come by and get them. >> Oh, no. I've ironed all day. The house is a mess. >> Relax. They're only going to be here a minute. >> Relax? When you're always pulling some horrible surprise on me? Oh, Jim, why can't you give me enough notice to get ready when you invite people over? >> I didn't invite >> Jim didn't invite them, but he or any man is inviting trouble when he ignores the importance to a woman of what people will think. To look at the other side of the coin, Jane is inviting unnecessary problems by ignoring some facts about men. From what you know of a man's reaction to the indirect approach, see if you think Jim is going to be able to fathom what Jane is driving at. >> Jim, dear, I noticed a new kind of electric shaver downtown. Supposed to be twice as fast as using a razor. You could zip right over your beard before breakfast. Thought I might get you one. >> Oh, I wouldn't be interested, Jane. I want a close shave. I don't care how long it takes. >> But Jim, honey, if it saves enough time so that you could shave before breakfast, wouldn't that >> Coffee tastes good this morning. Besides, I've barely got time to shave. >> Oh, men. >> Well, does getting along with members of your own sex help you understand the opposite sex? Did experience with other fellows give Jim a hint that when a woman is just chattering, she may be trying to tell him something? Trying to say, "I wish you'd shave before breakfast." Did getting along with other girls help Jane understand that when Jim pushed away the coffee, all he meant was I don't like the coffee, not I don't like you? But to get back to the picnic and Jim's bewilderment because Jane won't go with him to a birthday dinner because of the way she looks when it's his birthday. To get back to Jane's reaction to the masculine surprise that's been sprung on her. A misunderstanding exists here because each persists in expecting a reaction from the other that one should expect only from someone of his own sex. >> I just don't understand the way you're acting. >> No, you've even talking to you. >> Jane's wrong there. The way to avoid the difficulties that can arise from the differences between the sexes is to face up to these differences and to talk them over. And as for other differences that may exist, well, you'll know that you've probably discovered one anytime you feel like saying to a boyfriend or girlfriend, >> Oh, women. >> Oh, men. >> Such exasperating moments usually come up because young people have never tried to face up to some of the psychological and emotional differences between the sexes. So, what about you? What examples from your own experience illustrate other differences in masculine and feminine attitudes or behaviors? Now is the time to talk over these differences between the sexes. To begin to go your half of the way toward the difficult business of understanding someone different from yourself. >> I think the narrator sides with Jim a lot. This This is not a fair of It's like Jim didn't invite them. Um Yeah, and this is I I want to find more films in this series and I have not yet. I need to really kind of dig a little bit because if they are anywhere near as frustrating and as outrageous as this film, then we're in it for a good time.
