So, I'm not 100% sure what's going on here. Uh, I had difficulties actually getting access to uh, streaming and I tried different ways to do it and OBS was not behaving and now so I rebooted my computer and um, I'm so I'm not 100% having issues uh, with one of the drives. It's like I don't know what today is but it seems like technology is not behaving. It is not behaving uh which is unfortunate uh and very frustrating. Um like my external drive is not showing up like it's very very frustrating. Holy cow. Um, anyways, [Music] uh, yeah, I'm just kind of waiting here for this thing to show up, this drive to show up, um, on my desktop, uh, so that I can, uh, actually play the films that I had set up earlier today. Um, anyways, uh, what do we got, uh, that I can show you in the meantime? See, it's telling me that it's there, but I'm not seeing it, and it's not showing up. Um, let's see. You know, I almost feel like I should show you uh my desktop so you can get a sense of what I'm actually going through right now. But uh in the meantime, let's [Music] uh we can look at the scanner. Um yeah, so this is the uh laser graphics. Um this is uh made by a company in Southern California and uh most scanners and telescines all act about the same way. So you have a motor uh here that does tension and all does rewinds and you have a motor here that also pulls the film through. This is the takeup reel. Then you have a adjust this way. This is all by the seat of my pants. Um, so you have this tall tower here and the camera is in here and this is a machine vision camera. Uh, then you have below you have a gate right here. Oops. That um, and then you have a light source in the box below the gate. Um, so it's uh, pretty standard. All scanners pretty much have that. They have some sort of way to move the film through the gate. Then they have a light source. Then they have um a uh camera. And the camera either takes a picture every time uh there's a PF or that it detects or every time there is some sort of um I don't know some sort of event that takes place and it could be that there's a laser that's detecting the PF. It could be a sprocketed wheel that's detecting the PF. So it's kind of similar to this. So, this is what I use for for film strips. And so, you see there's a way to move the gate, move the film through the gate. You have a a light source and then there's this which goes on top and then this is where the camera phone cell phone camera lens goes. Um, so you can see there's a lit. So, when I do the film strip manually, this is what I'm doing. Moving this through. Um, let's see if my hard drive has shown up. Little external drive. There it is. All right. Um, yeah, I apologize for that that weird series of technical problems that all happened around the same time. Um, hopefully we can watch some films about pelicans. Enjoy. Um, it doesn't seem like uh Wow. Okay, one second. Maybe this will do it. This is uh incredibly gling. All right, this is what I'm going to do is um I'm going to reboot this software and so it will look like I've gone away, but I'll be right back. Sorry about this. This is, you know, I do all this prep work beforehand and I test it out, but some reason it just crapped out
