Hi everybody, I'm Skip Alzheimer. Welcome to the AV Geeks lunchtime streaming show where we watch old 16mm films and yeah, that was fascinating. That was a Prolinger archive film that they scanned recently and visually it is it is stunning for me. Um, and you know, it's trying to come up with this way to make dentures that are comfortable but also maintain the facial shape of um, the uh, patient. Um, and so this was not meant for general audiences. This was specifically for uh, dentists and orthodontists, etc. Uh, all right. Well, today's theme is teeth. So, let's uh let's call up Dr. Dial. This is Dr. Dial. A coverup job that adds to a woman's beauty brings on a happy smile. But it's what's behind her smile that counts. Clean white teeth, healthy gums, and a sweet breath don't just happen. Have you looked behind your smile lately? You can be sure your friends have. For more on this, call me at this number. This is Dr. Dial. The old adage, save the surface and you save all, readily applies in the prevention of tooth decay and periodontal disease. But can you tell if your toothbrushing efforts are really effective? Well, you don't have to guess. Disclosing tablets provide a pleasant, easy way to make sure. For more on this, call me at this number. This is Dr. Dial. Nine out of 10 among 35 to 50 year olds get hit by periodontal disease, the chief cause of tooth loss after age 35. To spare your teeth that fate, learn its danger signs. For more on this, call me at this number. This is Dr. Dial. All of us know that water pollution is a prime source of disease. But do you know that mouth pollution is the prime source of periodontal disease or that periodontal disease accounts for 98% of the loss of mouthfuls of teeth by Americans over 35? For more on this, call me at this number. This is Dr. Dial. Seasonal checkups are a must for our automobiles, and we're fussy about what goes into them. But though we put the most amazing litter into our mouths, we duck the dental checkups that can help us keep our teeth after we're 35. Can our cars be more important than our teeth? For more on this, call me at this number. Sorry, I was chewing my sandwich. Um, yeah, Dr. Dial, I'm sure that there were some prank phone calls. I wonder if it was just a recording or if it was um staffed by people. Uh, all right. Next film. The smiles Have it. [music] [music] [music] Here comes the postman. Wonder if he's going to leave anything for the children. Sure enough, Mary Jane and Tommy Davis are glad to receive an invitation from their family dentist. He reminds them that it's been 4 months since their last dental examination. They both agree to make their appointment as soon as possible. On examination, Dr. Wilson believes that Mary Jane needs additional instruction in the home care she gives her mouth. Since the smiles have it, Mary Jane is glad to be shown how to improve her toothbrushing. Grasp the brush firmly. Let's pretend the dentist's fingers represent teeth. Now place the brush well up on the gums. Using a sweeping motion, brush lengthwise with the cracks. Let's watch Mary Jane try it with her new toothbrush. After dipping it in the powder, she vigorously brushes the outside and inside of all the upper teeth. And of course, she won't forget the chewing surfaces. With a fresh supply of powder, she does the same on the lower jaw. While cleaning Mary Jane's teeth, Dr. Wilson discovers a small defect in her first permanent mer. He tells her that he will have to correct this at her next visit. A small filling like the one in this model of a tooth will be required. Dentists call these natural defects pits and fissures. At the start, they are so small that even one toothbrush bristle is larger than the opening and cannot get in to clean it. It is therefore apt to decay and become larger. These conditions should be filled early before real decay begins. If not, more of the tooth is destroyed. The filling is larger and usually more expensive. Miss Young, the dental assistant, gives Tommy a book to look at while waiting. What are animals doing in a book about dentistry? Of course, their teeth have definite purposes, just as humans teeth. Tommy is so interested, Miss Young promises to take him and Mary Jane to the zoo on Saturday. Just think of all the animals they'll see. The purpose of this trip today is to compare animals teeth with those of human beings. [music] >> [music] [music] >> Now that we've seen the animals, let's see how our teeth do compare with theirs. As you know, the teeth in the front of the zebra's mouth are called incorers because they have sharp cutting edges like scissors. He uses them to snip grass. We use our incizers to bite foods like apples. Here is a tiger, a carnivorous or meateing animal. These pointed teeth are cuspids. And these are human cuspids, which we also have in the corners of our mouths to tear tough foods. The elephant is a herbiferous or grass-eeding animal. He has big, strong moler teeth in the back of his mouth. Mullers have broad chewing surfaces which grind food into small pieces for swallowing. Now that they have seen all the animals, it's a nice idea to sit in the shade and look at the chart. It will show you how our teeth resemble those of animals. In the front, just as with the zebra, are the inciser or cutting teeth. Being omnivorous, which means to eat both vegetables and meats, we have kuspid teeth. Just as the tiger, our mullers, while smaller than the elephants, play just as important a part in the grinding and chewing of food. And now let's have some lunch. Miss Young has given a lot of thought to this lunch, preparing appetizing as well as helpful foods. Cheese and milk furnish the calcium and phosphorus which help to build strong teeth. She has lettuce and tomato sandwiches made with whole grain bread. Our favorites, carrots and celery, give splendid exercise to the jaws and teeth. Fruits which taste so good also supply many of the necessary vitamins and minerals. Now lunch is over and it's time to pack up the things. But where's Tommy? Oh, there he is. His attention has been attracted to the man working on a tree. He's a tree surgeon repairing a cavity in the trunk of that tree. In the book, there is a comparison between the filling of a tooth and the repairing of a tree. First, the cavity is properly prepared, then filled. Just as the tree surgeon fills the cavity in the tree, so should the dentist fill defects in the teeth. The cavities in this tree have been properly filled. The structure is practically as strong as before. But proper care and cleanliness must be observed if further decay is to be prevented. Just as is true in the case of teeth. As they leave this beautiful park, Mary, Jane, and Tommy tell Miss Young how much they have enjoyed the day. This journey into the land of little known facts about dentistry will be one long to be remembered. >> [music] [music] [music] >> Well, Higgins did the uh camera work on that and he spun off for his own company at some point um like in the 70s or late60s. So, that film was very early. All right, what do we got here? Uh, I think we need some songs about dental hygiene. Uh, I showed this film a long time ago and um I think it's time to watch it again. Enjoy. >> And right behind the first two teeth. Then came more teeth and more. >> [music] >> Teeth are good things to have. >> [music] >> The problem is they fall out. Throughout history, man has been losing his teeth [music] prematurely. It could happen to anyone. Men of science. >> Gravity, kings, lovers. man lost his teeth for no apparent reason and there was nothing he could do about it until now. Now dentists know why adults lose their teeth. >> Cavities sometimes cavities are the main problem for children but adults lose their teeth because of gum disease. >> Gum disease. Look, there's a film on your teeth to the gum and beneath that can make any smile look inferior. For the film on your teeth to the gum and beneath is composed of countless bacteria. Bacteria, you see, plus saliva debris makes a substance that couldn't be scarier. In each cranny and crack, they form something called plaque. It's enough to give you hysteria. on your teeth front and back that get covered with plaque. Your mouth couldn't look much earier. What you drink or you chew you should regulate to keep most sugars out of this area. >> Hi bacteria. >> Hi sugar. >> For this food on your teeth on the gum beneath encourages this bacteria. So friend, have concern for the foods that you yearn to eat at home or cafeteria. Will you really be through with the only teeth you have got in your oral interior? >> Is this bad? I mean, this here plaque. >> Is it bad? Well, it's about the worst thing you can get on your teeth. >> Oh, why? >> Well, here's why. Listen. >> We have a depravity to make you a cavity. >> Our aim is deformity of greatest enormity. There is no immunity in any community. Just call us or give you impunity. There is no security in captivity. We warn you with gravity. We make you a cavity. Just call us. >> We really thrive and stay alive to multiply. Chloral acids are the reason why >> impleable it's dental anarchy. We bubble toil and trouble the truth will go crack free. We allity we have the capacity of tenacity. Just call us. >> Kids with an affinity for plaque in this vicinity lose teeth for eternity. Even those from maternity. It's such a great pity. >> It don't look so pretty. >> Just call it plaque. >> Begging your pardon. We're starting to harden on the outside and in between when we get harder and harder. We pack in like a sardine. It's so bizarre that we go down so far on the teeth that may look very clean. After supper, sandwich, lunches, your teeth should be clean. always turn to punches the good down BETWEEN the sea. We make inflaming your tissue to something it's never been with a hole in your mouth IS NOW gum infection can come with tooth decay. Fire makes it close enough to fall. What can I do to stop this? >> Preventive oral hygiene is what you need. I'm going to show you how you can remove plaque before it can cause tooth decay or gum disease or loss of teeth. First, you use a disclosing tablet that colors plaque so you can see exactly where it is on your teeth. Then remember these three things. The toothbrush, dental floss, and me. >> There's just us three. >> Brush and me. We're here to convey. >> We stopped dental decay. There's just us three. Brush >> and floss >> and me. One thing does unite us. >> We fight gingivitis. >> There's just us three. >> Brush and floss >> and me. If there should be a race of poria. There's just us three. >> Brush and >> me. We'll each take a whack. >> Unhinging. There's just us three. Brush and me. You'll see. You'll see. There's just three. >> Take it away, Brush. I've got a special little knack for getting rid of plaque and to make teeth clean as a whistle. With sparkling, I'm the plaque's nemesis. Scrub back and forth with every bristle. One thing you can't dismiss, cleaning every small crevice. When you bring your brush into play, if on close analysis, plaque is out from each abyss, you'll have cut down on tooth decay. Take it away, floss. Myility is a facility to get between dexterity but no tarity to get teeth clean. My tenacity and capacity is to reach each plaque. Move its rigidity with rapidity from every crack. The obscurity of plaques can be your loss. Black mortality with a finality can come through flaws. My popularity is the clarity. I can be in tonality and totality of black free teeth. Take it away dentist. Anyone worth his dental degrees will give you these analyses. Search out plaque without delay. It's a major cause of tooth decay. Many foods that lodge and squeeze between your teeth cause gum disease. Be diligent like the CIA and get out plaque left every day. You can do it with so much ease. There's toothbrush and floss. Use both of these. Brush teeth clean as the milky way. Use floss to get last night's parfait. Someone who's worth his dental degrees has just given you his analyses. Make regular visits. Call me please. I'll set your teeth and mind at ease. >> There's just three. Now you plainly see >> a little brush and me just do it today. Get rid of decay. >> We're just brush and floss and you'll see. >> Use your brush and your dental floss every day and see your dentist regularly. That's preventive oral hygiene. Eat a balanced diet and use a fluoride toothpaste. That's the best way to prevent gum disease [music] and tooth loss. It took 25,000 years for us to learn this lesson. Don't forget it. >> There's just bright >> and >> me. You see, you see the heart [cheering] [music] Oh, the uh plaque song is is I I love that song. Um, it is absurd and visually what you see is just really crazy. Uh, so people have been mentioning it in the comments. Uh, they have been manifesting it. Um, so I did a big project where I scanned 10,000 TV commercials for a uh, advertising archive for Duke University. uh and their um they got their stuff from Benton and BS which was a big advertising agency who had uh Proctor and Gamble as one of their clients and so they also had Crest and some other folks. So um here are some random and I probably have shown some of these in the past but there's a bunch of the Cavity Creeps uh commercials in here. So enjoy. >> Behind its wall of beautiful teeth, Toothopoulos is under constant siege by the CAVITY CREEPS. >> WE MAKE TEETH. >> CY, LOOK. >> CREST TEAM, THE CAVITY CREEPS ARE COMING. >> We'll fight them with Crest's fluoride. [screaming and groaning] >> YAY. >> WATCH TREATS, see your dentist, and fight the cavity creeps like a crest. Fight cavities with Crest. >> As the sun rises on Topolis, those cavity creeps blast off to attack again. But this time, >> Advanced Formula Crest, our all new secret weapon is ready, >> just in time. >> Sap them with new Crest Floristat. Fire one. >> It's tougher on US THAN BEFORE. >> YEAH. WATCH SWEETS, >> see your dentist, >> and fight the cavity creeps with our all new secret weapon. >> Advanced formula. >> The citizens of Toothopoulos remain ever watchful for >> the cavity creeps. CRUSH, >> WE MAKE TEETH. >> QUICK, WARN THE CRUSTY. CRASH. CRUSH. Crusty's trying to tell us something. The cavity creeps. Crush. COME ON. >> LET'S GIVE him the brush with Crest's fluoride. CREST. >> YAY. [cheering] >> WATCH TREATS, see your dentist, and fight the cavity creeps like a CREST TEAM. >> FIGHT CAVITIES with Crest. >> Alls quiet in Toothopolis. WHEN >> CAVITY creeps moving in fast, >> quick to THE CREST FIGHTERS. >> WE make holes AND TEETH. LET'S GIVE her a dose of Crest with Flora Stan. >> YAY! CREST >> FOILED BY CREST. BUT WE'LL BE BACK. Watch treats, >> see your dentist, >> and fight the cavity creeps like the Crest team. >> Fight cavities with Crest. >> Day after day, Toothopoulos stands behind its beautiful wall of teeth. Ever vulnerable to the cavity creeps. >> We climb tooth, make holes. The cavity creeps. I'll call the crest team. >> The siren. The cavity creeps must be near our beloved wall of teeth. >> Yes, at the upper back mola. >> Hurry into the crest mobile. >> CREST, PROTECT US. >> THIS GOOD SPOT FOR big hole. >> We must fight the cavity creeps with our fluoride. >> Take this cavity creeps. >> Crest. No. DROP THAT CRAP. YAY! [cheering] TOOTHOPOLIS HAS been saved. >> The cavity creeps are a constant threat to every toothopoulos. >> So, you must fight with us, >> have regular checkups, >> watch treats, >> and brush after every meal with C >> R E S T. Back in 1954, the great anti-avity race was a pretty hum event until suddenly a new entry hit the track. Crest toothpaste. It was powered by a revolutionary new cavity fighter, Fluoride. In no time flat, Crest had reared out front, leaving the others to jockey for second, third, fourth, and fifth place. Crest raced merrily along, racking up record after record in the great anti-avity race. But today, for the first time, Crest makes a pit stop. Crest gets a brand new engine, Floristan 2, with an advanced cavity fighting system capable of injecting even more fluoride to your teeth. Floristan 2 powers today's souped-up crest as it blasts even further ahead. >> Souped Up Crest. It's out of sight. Imagine your teeth as being little houses in a neighborhood. They need a kind of weatherproofing to protect them from the ravages of the elements. From the torance of sodas, milkshakes, coffee. From the blitzing of snow cones, ice cream, frosties. From the pelleting of rock candy, peanuts, hot dogs, the best weather proofing for teeth is fluoride. And the fluoride toothpaste is Crest because Crest is now improved to get even more fluoride to your teeth. One brushing with improved Crest is like putting extra weather proofing on your house. [laughter] And Improved Crest is still the only one of the five leading toothpastes accepted by the American Dental Association. By the way, how are things in your neighborhood? >> Oh no, not you again. >> That's right, Tooth. It's your old friend, Cavity. >> Now, what may I ask? >> Somehow I'm going to get through to you, Dum Dum. >> Well, that's absurd, my good fellow. I'm brushed regularly with crest toothpaste. >> Sure, that makes you tough, but so am I. >> Sorry to spoil your fun, old chap, but now you're up against improved crest. >> Improved crest, >> right? And it gets even more fluoride to teeth. >> More fluoride? This will take all I've got. >> Oh, cuss. Now more than ever, Crest is the toothpaste cavities hate most because it now gets even more fluoride to your teeth and it's accepted by the American Dental Association. So have checkups, watch treats, and brush after eating with improved crest. >> Okay, so I find another mouth. >> Things have never been tougher for cavities. Inside the city of Toothopoulos, >> our all new secret weapon, advanced formula crest, is ready. And just in time, as >> cavity creeps attacking, pull out the crest. >> Holds. Holds teeth. >> New crest. New [music] >> crest was lost at ready, sir. >> Fire away. This never hit us this hard before. >> Yeah. >> Watch sweets. >> See your dentist. >> And fight the cavity [music] creeps with our all new secret weapon, Advanced Formula Crest. All's quiet in Toothopoulos [music] when >> cavity creeps moving in fast. >> Quick to the crest fighters. >> We make holes and teeth. >> Let's give her a dose of Crest with Flora. >> Yay! Crest >> foiled by Crest. But we'll be back. >> Watch treats, >> see your dentist, >> and fight the cavity creeps like the Crest team. My cavities were crept. >> Behind its wall of beautiful teeth, Toothopolis is under constant siege by the cavity creeps. >> We make teeth. >> Custy, look. >> Crest team, the cavity creeps are coming. >> We'll fight them with Crest's fluoride. [screaming] >> Crest. >> Yay. >> Watch treats, see your dentist, and fight the cavity creeps like a crest team. Fight cavities with Crest. >> The citizens of Toothopoulos remain ever watchful for >> the cavity creeps. Crush. >> We make teeth. >> Quick, warn the crusty. Crush. Crrest. Crusty's trying to tell us something. The cavity creeps. Crash. Come on. >> Let's give him the brush with Crest's fluoride. Yay! >> Watch treats, see your dentist, and fight the cavity creeps like a crusty. >> Fight cavities with Crest >> on the City of Toothpopoulos birthday, a cake arrived. But inside were >> the cavity creeps. H >> quick, the cavity creeps. >> We'll fight them with our fluoride. >> You had that correct. Yay! >> To help us fight those creeps, >> have checkups, >> West Street, >> and brush after meals with C R. >> Yay! Crust. >> Day after day, Toothopoulos stands behind its beautiful wall of teeth, ever vulnerable to the cavity creeps. >> We climb to make holes. The cavity creeps. I'll call the crest team. >> The siren. The cavity creeps must be near our beloved wall of teeth. >> Yes, at the upper Bad Mola. >> Hurry into the crest mobile. >> Crest, protect us. >> This good spot for big hole. >> We must fight the cavity creeps with our fluoride. >> Take this cavity creeps. >> Crest [screaming] that crap. Yay! Toothopolis is saved. >> The cavity creeps are a constant threat to every toothopolis. >> So, you must fight with us, >> have regular checkups, >> watch treats, >> and brush after every meal with C R E F T. >> Through these youngsters, your youngsters have a better chance against tooth decay because they were part of a test that showed Crest toothpaste reduces cavities. Here's the story. Frank, the cadets were the toothpaste testers, half using Crest and half using regular toothpaste. What did the cadets do? >> Each group brushed three times a day under identical conditions. And how did the Crest users make out? >> 45% fewer cavities after 2 years. Frank, such results show why Crest is recognized effective against cavities by the American Dental Association. Their council reports, "Crest has been shown to be an effective decay preventive dentist that can be of significant value when used in a conscientiously applied program of oral hygiene and regular professional care. Protect your family with good dental habits, dental checkups twice a year, and Crest, the only toothpaste recognized effective against cavities by the American Dental Association. You know, like everybody else, I'm paying a lot more attention to physical fitness these days. And one thing I've learned, physical fitness has to include dental fitness, good dental health. Because if you're going to take care of your body, it makes sense to start with your mouth. Now, right now during Children's Dental Health Week, why not check your family's dental health program? Because healthy teeth mean a happier life. What's he doing? Well, it's an old superstition. Kissing a donkey relieves a toothache. Well, how about this one? [music] For aching teeth, run three times around the church without thinking of a fox. Sounds silly. Well, that's what people used [music] to believe. Luckily, today they don't lean on fallacies about dental health. Instead, they've [music] learned the facts. Where some folks used to think of going to a dentist only when they had a toothache, today they go [music] for regularly scheduled examinations because they know their dentist is a specialist concerned not only with teeth [music] but with bone structure, muscles, soft tissues. He can prevent or treat [music] problems which start in the mouth and may affect the entire body. Yes, fallacies about dental health have given way [music] to facts, and it's a good thing for you and your family because a healthy mouth means a happier life. A mouth is to talk, friendly [music] talk, important talk. A mouth is to eat for fun, for refueling [music] the body. A mouth is to sing little songs, big songs. [music] A mouth is to laugh, to smile, to kiss. When you think how important the [music] mouth is every minute of every day, you realize why proper care is so important. Home care [music] and professional care, regular professional care. Your dentist is an essential member of your family health team. He [music] can frequently spot trouble before it starts. He can prevent or correct dental problems that might affect your general health. [music] One way he does this is by guiding young people toward good dental practices. You know, the health habits your children learn as youngsters [music] will probably stick with them all through their lives. So teach them early that dental health is vital to [music] the way they look, how clearly they speak, how much they enjoy their food, and most important, [music] how well they feel. Teach them to achieve good dental health by conscientious home and [music] professional care. Teach them that healthy teeth mean a happier life. >> A smile for life. The father presented by the American Dental Association. >> I had been coming down Dr. Bran's street for over 20 years. Now my wife and I were taking our daughter to him. She was four, and meeting him for the first time was the same adventure for her as it had been for me. [music] She looked like a little round apple sitting in a big chair. And when the doctor's assistant put the dental [music] bib on her, she giggled and thought it was all a game. As he examined her, he told us she was the right age to start topical fluoride treatments. "Topical fluoride treatments?" my wife asked. The doctor explained that scientists had shown that fluoride strengthens the enamel against tooth decay. "Topical treatments could be a big help during the cavity years, but she would also have to help herself." "Follow all the dental rules," he said, "and you'll see. You'll have a smile for life. As she left, my little girl kept [music] looking back because the dentist played such a nice game. A most human game. The endless effort to help and [music] protect his patients day in day out from generation to generation. >> The Smile for Life College Days presented by the American Dental Association. Sometimes at football practice in college, I thought of odd things, like the face guard on my helmet. How did Dr. [music] Bran describe it? Protection of my smile for life. [music] Well, one day, thinking of that, I knew I'd better tell the coach something. I wanted to see my dentist. You got a toothache? He asked. No, not a toothache. Then why the dentist? I told him I felt something was wrong around my mouth. that anything wrong there should be checked by my dentist. So before you know it, I was in Dr. Bran's office being X-rayed. What the doctor suspected the X-ray proved. My jawbone had a hairline fracture. When did it happen? I didn't know. I I'd felt something funny for about a week. A week of all people. I should have realized that any mouth trouble could be a symptom of something serious. that you should see your dentist right away, not wait a week or for a six-month checkup. A dentist is concerned with plenty more than cavities, he said. Everything from fractures to oral cancer. He took me over to the hospital where he and another doctor fixed my jaw, wiring it up in a system that made the teeth formation look simple. They told me I was lucky I hadn't aggravated the fracture, letting it go uncared for. As we left the hospital, I figured I was lucky [music] to have a Dr. Bran around and I smiled as best I could. >> A smile for life, the adolescent presented by the American Dental Association. >> When I was older, going to Dr. Bran somehow seemed to come last on my list of things to do. [music] After all, a guy has lots on his mind. Maybe I was overdue, [music] but I knew I'd get a friendly reception from Dr. Bran, and I did. He told me I had good teeth, but the way I was going, I'd never have that smile for life. Not only missing regular checkups, but it looked like I was eating a lot of sweets, too. Now, how did he know that? He showed me how. I was a teenager, and teenagers get careless. seem to forget all they learn. He pointed to a chart that showed that the teens were the years when most cavities occur. "Snap out of it," he said. "Get back to the rules the way he taught me. Regular checkups, proper brushing, and easy ones." Later on my way home, I was sorry for the way I let the doctor down. [music] From now on, teenager or no teenager, I was going easy on sweets and regular on checkups. [music] When I was a boy, I used to run to his office. The guys liked to kid me. Running to a dentist, but he was some dentist. [music] His name was Dr. Bran, and he always let me come 5 minutes early just [music] so I could see his lab. He'd let me touch things and tell me about them. I [music] used to get so excited I I'd tell Dr. Bran I was going to be a dentist when I grew up [music] and he'd pat my head and say, "Fine, fine." Only he never told me how hard it was to become one. When I was older, I learned he went to college for eight years and had to study dozens of subjects, not just dental ones, but physiology and anatomy and bacteriology. Of course, I didn't know that then. All I knew was that going to Dr. Brand's was better than the movies. [music] Somehow, I I never did become a dentist, but I'm sure glad Dr. Bran did. What he showed me about taking care [music] of my teeth has given me what he calls a smile for life. >> What's the use of fooling myself? My family knows they should brush their teeth after every meal, but I know they don't. They can always say, >> "But mommy, I didn't have a chance." >> Look, how can I always brush? >> You see, that's why we've switched to Gleam. Gleam, the toothpaste for people who can't brush after every meal. Just one Gleam brushing destroys decay and odor-causing bacteria. You see, Gleam and only Gleam contains GL70 to fight decay and odor. Just watch this scientific comparison. Here are mouth bacteria before brushing. CREST TEAM, THE CAVITY CREEPS ARE COMING. >> We'll fight them with Crest's fluoride. >> Crest. >> YAY. [cheering] >> WATCH TREATS, see your dentist, and fight the cavity creeps like A CREST. >> FIGHT CAVITIES with Crest. All right, I think we wrapped back around. >> All right. Um, Dr. Brand uh those that series of commercials was kind of nuts. Um, but um yeah, thanks for watching today. I very much appreciate your smiles and your um comments. And uh if you like what you saw or at least kind of generally are interested in what we do here, hit the thumbs up, hit the like button. Uh tell other people what we do and why we do it and when we do it and where we do it. Um, if you I was going to say, so tonight I'm doing a screening of Princess Bride at the uh the Science Museum in downtown Raleigh, but it's sold out. It sold out like a month ago. Uh, so I don't know. You might be able to go and just kind of see what's going on and then maybe I'll see you and say hi, shake your hand, get a picture with you. That would be exciting. Um, but I think the movie itself is sold out, but they have a lot of booths outside that talk about various science sciency things. Um, which is really fun. And I think there's going to be some people doing some sword play there. So, um, yeah, that's at uh 6:00. Uh, go there and I'll be there. Um, anyways, uh, everybody have a great weekend. We love you guys a lot. I very much enjoy doing these shows and you guys make it great. So, I will see you if I don't see you tonight. I will see you on Monday. Everybody, take care. Bye.
