is all that hi everybody this is Skip Alzheimer welcome to the avgeeks lunchtime streaming show we are back from Toronto uh had a wonderful time showed some films uh had some undergraduates scratching their heads about some of the things we showed um had some um ptin uh had some um these I think it's Hawkins cheesies which is like a really good version of of a Cheetos uh like a fried Cheeto what else do we have ketchup Ruffles and then all dressed Ruffles has anybody had all dressed Ruffles I have a feeling that if it was sold in the United States they'd call it flavor blasted it's basically they just mix all the flavorings uh of the Ruffles potato chips into one flavor and then you eat it but all dressed very odd civilized way to say flavor blasted or extreme uh anyways I was reading in the comments like um oh yeah you guys are still psychically damaged from the mime show um sorry I kind of knew that there was there's a lot of emotional stuff related to that film uh theme uh with MES and so uh I have not had a chance I was flying when the show was going so I didn't get a chance to actually see the comments but uh I'm glad that uh that it resonated with you uh so let's um let's bring it down a little bit bring it down a little bit let's learn about a balanced Aquarium [Music] enjoy the Henderson family likes the woods and stream me there's always something new to see right now Susan and Fred are watching the fish in the pond the water is so clear they can see Fish and plants deep down at the bottom Susan wonders could we have fish at home so that we can watch them whenever we like father thinks they could if the children promise to learn how to take care of them Susan is sure they can wait now look Freddy not a speck of dirt Fred and Susan make a good beginning with a clean indoor pool it is called an aquarium okay then I guess we're ready to put in the sand I must have wash it about five times that should make it clean enough Fred and Susan have studied a book about building an aquarium first they must have a clean container and clean sand 2 in of sand will hold the roots of water plants grading the sand up to about 4 in in the back builds a slope waist will slide down the slope and make cleaning easier deeper sand at the back also gives better support for larger plants green plants are as important as fish in an aquarium a little water over the sand makes planting easier water plants may be gathered from out outdoor pools and streams or bought in Pet Shops some water plants have roots and must be handled very carefully the plants you buy may be held together by lead wire which should not be put into the aquarium it may spoil the water the plants look pretty but that's not the only reason for planting them it takes both plants and fish to make a healthy aquarium what do you think Fred is going to do with this wrapping paper wrapping paper protects the plants if water were poured directly on them they would wash away and they might even break fish need fresh clean water City water is all right but only after it stands a day or more to allow a chemical called chlorine to evaporate chlorine keeps germs out of drinking water but it may harm fish Susan uses a Sprinkling Can and for a very good reason notice the many small streams of water falling on the paper this way air is allowed to mix with the water and the more air we get into the aquarium the better for the fish the water floats the plants in a few days they will straighten up stones will help to weigh down plants and to decorate the aquarium after all the plants and stones are in the water the aquarium should be left alone for a couple of days so that the water can clear up before the fish are put in Susan and Fred have bought the kinds of fish that like to live together the temperature of the water in the small jar should always be the same as the temperature in the aquarium otherwise the fish may get sick the fish are kept in separate containers so that they can be placed in the aquarium carefully this way the fish Simply Swim out of the small container into the aquarium these are sword tails look at the tail fin do you see why this fish is called a sword tail these are black moles there are many other moles some with orange stripes and some just splotched with black but these are truly black next a pair of dwarf gurami from the East Indies this one is lighter than the other because the little one is scared when he calms down he too will regain his bright color these neon tetras probably came from the Amazon river in South America they are less than an inch long and you can see why they are called neon a large group of neon tetras swimming about would look like little neon lights in the aquarium angel fish they also came from the warm Waters of South America no aquarium would be complete without guppies guppies are named after an Englishman a Mr guppy who lived in Trinidad Guppies make up in color but they lack in size none of these fish will grow much bigger but with good care they will stay healthy and Lively there are 14 fish in the aquarium now that is a good start the glass top like a roof will keep out dust and dirt it will help to hold the water at an even warmth in spite of temperature changes in the room and it will keep the fish from jumping out the surface of the water is about 2 in from the top edge of the aquarium to give the fish planty of air an automatic electric water heater will keep the water at 70° this is a handy Gadget if you have fish from warm tropical waters in a room that might get cold the fish seem to enjoy their new home and the plants are doing well too that's because there is a balance between plant and animal life in the aquarium let's see what is meant by balance see the bubbles on the plants plants give off a gas called oxygen fish need oxygen oxygen for breathing in turn fish give off a gas called carbon dioxide plants need carbon dioxide and sunlight to make their food in this way fish and plants help each other when there is a balance between the plant and animal life in an aquarium we call it a balanced aquarium in a balanced aquarium there must be enough plants to provide oxygen for all the fish then the fish in turn will give off as much carbon dioxide as the plants need so the more fish in an aquarium the more plants will be needed nature provides such a balance in the ponds and rivers that team with fish just as in our aquarium the fish and the plants depend on each other in the pond fish usually find plenty to eat in the aquarium Susan has to feed her fish healthy fish are hungry even so they must not be fed too much and only once a day at feeding time Susan usually looks at the thermometer to make sure the water temperature is right about 70° a balanced aquarium needs some sunlight and should be placed near a window light from a North or east window is best plants need the lied to make food Susan and Fred are really beginning to enjoy their aquarium and the balance of plant and animal life in it they keep all the things they need for the aquarium right beneath it there is the fish food and a fish net the net is used to remove fish that get sick or die and there is a glass suction tube such a tube is used for cleaning the aquarium by sucking up dirt from the bottom here are two more fish for the aquarium catfish catfish are cleaners or scavengers there are different types of scavengers and every aquarium should have some they eat waste material and help to keep the aquarium clean Susan has decided to mark down in a notebook the things she learned about fish she has already written down the three most important rules for keeping a balanced aquarium give your fish the right kinds of food and not too much of it about what they can eat in a few minutes do not overcrowd the fish too many fish will quickly use up the oxygen in the water and get sick finally the water temperature must be kept right about 70° in nature there is a balance between plant life and fish life and a balanced aquarium is a copy of nature you too can make an aquarium in your H at school and discover the enjoyment of observing by yourself the end um certainly in my life uh we had aquarium that my family had and um flies would end up in them the dead flies and then that would throw everything off that happened with me is uh when I the three times that I tried to have sea monkeys um is that I could see them and then one day there was a fly and that was all it took to to kill them off and they never got to the point where they had uh ties and smiley faces um it was a lie all right so behind me oh let me say uh Richie Richie rugs thank you for the um the $10 for some Pepto bismo for all the uh outrageous Canadian snack food that we had um yeah it was so good oh my gosh and we were staying in a neighborhood that was Portuguese so there's these Portuguese bakeries there was also Vietnamese food near us it's really really phenomenal it was kind of like New York City was like in the '90s it was like really really great anyhow behind me I have a film scanner which is over here it's right there and uh someone David uh donated a film and we're going to watch it and it is called uh not that excuse me it's called where is [Music] it it is sugar cereal imitation orange breakfast and it features uh our wise smartass uh guy uh Marshall Efron Can U comedian anyways here it is enjoy pointers on how to get around grown-ups who try to force you to eat the right things mothers are always pushing what they say are good for you eggs fresh fruits and vegetables and nourishing cereals well what kids like is dessert and what better way to start the day than with a dessert grown-ups never think of serving dessert for breakfast we have to outsmart them we can have sweet breakfast disc skirts disguised to look like breakfast food the big manufacturers are on our side they understand our desires and they respect kid Power pointer one know the market watch Saturday morning television and Survey the field then follow up with a trip to the serial counter read the labels carefully but watch out for ringers a ringer is a box of cereal with a ball or a plastic car inside but if the cereal is not sweet uhuh it's not for kids you might get stuck with a cheap toy and then you'd have to eat the unsued stuff too but one thing you have going for you is that mothers generally don't have time to read the labels point two get it into the house by offering to go shopping on your own now if that doesn't work insist on going along protect your rights when you get to the cereal counter if your mother picks up Kellogg's Product 19 you show her that kellogs also makes kid cereals that's when you pick up uhhuh sugar Frosted Flakes for instance great now if she says sugar frosted flakes are low and nutritional values compromised there are others just as sweet the largest ingredient in Apple Jacks and Froot Loops is sugar you can't go wrong with these two the next Point gets a little sticky now say say what you do is you take two cups of Froot Loops measure that in these are Sugar Pops we're starting backwards but that's all right two cups of sugar pops there's one there's two that's fine now you take two cups of Froot Loops put them right in are they colorful huh isn't that pretty that's good and then two cups of small gumdrops there one good luck here's another one that should measure out to about a cup now you mix it together just toss it together lightly like a salad just like tossing a salad except it tastes better one last pointer remind your mom about the generation gap only grown-ups complain about sugar causing cavities you never hear one kid bugging another about that do you and remember Marshall's advice it's better to eat your cereal right from the box and to get your hand caught in the cookie jar now if you have a mother who reads labels and understands nutrition and insists that breakfast should be highly nutritious without milk I can't help you but you could save up your candy allowance and buy the sugar sweet cereal of your choice and hide it under your bed sugar lover is your night you have nothing to lose but your teeth it's getting harder to do this look at this mess huh look at that container perishable seat sticky on your fingers these rinds here I have to throw away it's hard work for what few precious drops of orange juice the word orange doesn't even rhyme with anything tastes pretty good though lots of vitamin C real nutrition but now I have the problem of disposing of this mess it's rough but look here look at what the 20th century alchemists have done for us they've taken common water added sugar a few base chemicals and produced convenient clean Fool's Gold ah they tried to do this in the Middle Ages but it took the wonderful technology of the 20th century to make all this happen here we have Frozen juices concentrated you just Add Water see this is 100% juice but this over here huh which looks like it is not concentrated orange juice but awake read what's in it just to show you the first ingredient which means that's the most of sugar syrup then water then corn syrup then orange pulp citric acid Gum arabic and a whole long list of other things that's what I'm talking Stan would like the standard for Juice drinks to be at least 35% juice the rest is mainly water sugar citric acid vitamin C vegetable gum orange oil artificial color Stannis chlorid now here this is high seed and it calls itself an orange drink but the label says it contains not less than 10% juice all right now here's something else this is called a juice Blend that's right right here now looking like it it looks just like the real thing right now every scientific discipline has its own terminology and the Alchemists of orography are no different from the other Alchemists now you used to think that a blend is a mixture of several different kinds of juices or different kinds of juices of oranges but no nuh-uh an orange blend is a mixture of orange and water what used to be called a dilution the FDA proposes a standard of at least 70% orange juice in a blend now orange drinks should have 35% real juice and a lend should have 70% remember that these are all proposed standards if you were confused watch this show again next time and take notes I'm confused too now here's the product right over here I can't read what the ingredients are look for it you know you see it disregard it now we come right now to the ultimate inconvenience orange product that's right this is it a powdered orange breakfast Discovery tanged mostly sugar again you add the other main ingredient yourself which is water from your very own tap now besides paying for sugar you're also paying for let me see what it says here citric acid natural flavor Gum arabic monosodium phosphate and potass citrate and calcium phosphate and vitamin C cellulose gum hydrogenated coconut oil artificial flavor artificial color vitamin A and BHA did anybody hear any mention of orange uh-uh I didn't say it and they don't have it in here that's why it's called a breakfast Discovery Kids just because the astronauts drink it does it mean that it's good for you so Shoppers when you face the choice of what kind of orange substitute to substitute for the real thing ask yourself the basic questions how do you like your water 90% 65% 30% or on the rocks how much do you want to pay for it how much is kagene or Gum arabic or hydrogenated vegetable oil or sugar or elal maltol worth to you or what does it do to you that's another question I'm going to have a little juice myself top it off with Real Purity here uh it's hard to get open but it's easier than regular oranges this here we go pour it right in that's good turn on the machine put some water in come to the Florida Citrus whoops turn it off oh now we'll have a little taste of this and see if it matches up to the stuff we had before it's all right if you want it for dinner going to bed sedative I guess I don't know I'll go back to the real oranges that's what I like he's an acquired taste um but uh I def I definitely I dig it uh he I have other films that he uh made once's called chemical Feast that basically talks about all the chemicals in an apple Mom's Apple Pie um that's uh sold in grocery store so I uh I like I like it it's the reason why I like it it's early 70s and it's also uh it's uh consumer information it's trying to get people to read labels and understand what they're being sold and to look past the advertising so that's why I like this he he individually his personality no I would not want to uh go on a road trip with him um but uh definitely dig his dig his Vibe all right uh let's learn about some basic techniques for home landscaping enjoy the you may do the whole landscaping job at once or you may do it part by part but a good place to begin is on the side where your house makes its first impression on Friends and neighbor the side of the house that is Forever on display here when space permits the quiet Dignity of trees is used by Nursery men to provide a basic framework for the house any other work is done you should locate the position of these trees and plant them to accomplish this properly you will first have to establish what Nursery men call a primary point of view this is a position about opposite the front door from which you want your home to look its very best to passers by the framing pre well-defined areas the public area the utility area and the private or living area if you think of your land as an outdoor in an architecturally balanced house with a cent doorway trees of about equal size would be used when the weight of the house is on the left as it is here plant the larger Tree on the right and the architectural balance taller houses often require tall growing trees but for single stored houses like this one the larger tree need not be more than a medium size from the driveway a secondary point of view exist s permitting a more intimate view of the house a small tree or a large shrub planted here is doubly useful it completes the frame for the new view and helps to modify the long straight roof line setting out trees is the first important step now you must fill in the detail so that the house Blends more naturally with its environment this calls for foundation planting visual guidelines are very useful here too from each end of the house a little less than halfway to the eaves draw two imaginary lines which meet at the threshold these lines will help you to determine the maximum desirable height of the corner and doorway plants at the outside corners start with a key plant either an evergreen or a flowering shrub for the best effect support it with smaller plants of harmonious Leaf texture at the doorway use slow growing plants or plants whose size can be controlled by pruning their height may be a little above or a little below the visual [Music] guidelines for a bright splash of color during the Spring and early summer aelas perhaps for more subtle color contrasts Evergreens offer a wide choice of Blues or greens or Grays here as in other instances your Nursery man can help you select plants best suited to your taste to your climate and soil conditions along the foundation between the threshold and the outside corners use connective plants such such as low growing Evergreens or simple Ground Covers if the house has a pleasing low Foundation you may leave some Open Spaces on wide plots you'll want to protect the activities of the private area from public view plant a free flowing arrangement of flowering shrubs on one border and shrubs or Evergreens on the other for balance and a sweeping line to the house preserve an open uncluttered lawn to give dramatic impact and a sense of space to the house and Landscape the finished effect strong vertical and horizontal lines are softened the house set pleasingly in its surrounding landscape reflects the warmth the friendliness and the Good Taste of those who occupy it next locate this for easy access from the business area of the house near the kitchen the garage The Tool Shed if you have young children you will want it large enough to provide a play space for them and a separate plot for yourself where you can grow fruits along the property line a narrow hedge of upright Evergreens is both pleasing and practical on the far border set out your favorite fruit trees interspersed with berry plants of your choice you can use the boundary line between the two areas is to good Advantage by treating it the same way complete the enclosure with a screening fence which can become the background for future planting you have thus provided a protected area where even young children can play in safety while preserving to yourself a place where you can enjoy the undisturbed pleasure of growing vegetables flowers herbs strawberries asparagus whatever you desire to supply with the flavor God freshness the part of your property which can most fully individual dreams of beauty or outdoor living area Landscaping the outdoor living area begins with a starting point a focal point and an uninterrupted line of vision between them called the main ideally the outdoor living area is a vision of the interior of the house as in this case it may also begin from a Terrace a doorway or any other Vantage Point close to the house once you have determined the position of the main axis you must decide whether you want a formal Arrangement or one that is free flowing and informal for the formal Garden you would think in terms of squares for the informal in terms of ovals since this is to be an informal arrangement the Landscaping will be developed around the oval shape the area outside the oval is reserved for shrubs leaving the inside for open long at the focal point establish a terminal feature this could be one of a variety of things a bench beneath the rose covered Arbor an appropriate piece of Statuary a specimen tree a swimming pool even an unusual View to give the terminal feature additional emphasis plant harmonizing florabunda and Grand on either side can provide color all summer set off the terminal feature with a backdrop of Evergreens especially suitable because they hold color all year long then from the point of view of the beginning of the axis frame the T ground a magnolia closer to the arbor be sure they are planted just outside the point of view lines always of importance a tree at the Terrace to provide shade during the warmest part of the day use a full leaf tree like a sycamore a maple or honey locust with the trees in place you can now devote yourself to planting the Border areas plant the borders with flowering shrubs or Evergreens or both by choosing several different kinds of flowering shrubs you can get continual Bloom from Spring to Fall along the fence give yourself the Splendor of climbing roses with low growing shrubs or perennials in the foreground at the sides of the Terrace and along the foundation of the house use transition plans to blend the house with the outdoor living area against the background of shrubs and Evergreens use color accents choose flowers to suit your time and your taste and to give you an array of successive color the total effect is an outdoor living area to be looked at with pride and lived in this is a house that beckons a house that invites the and pleases it this is a landscaped [Music] house that film must have exploded or somebody who ran it uh did not know how to run a projector because there were splices all throughout it and that tells me that uh someone got this from the library and showed it to a gardening club and hilarity ensued with the projector okay so I've got another film set up on the scanner and this is a request from someone uh that I I saw at a conference that I did I I went to the Sentry of 16 mm um conference in Bloomington a couple of weeks ago and did a presentation but this guy did a presentation about uh nit National instructional television the people who made inside out and uh he had seen my shows and said oh I love you know when you show the inside outs do you have this one film called inside inside out and I was like yes I do so so I found it and here it is [Music] enjoy the following is from National instructional television this program was supported by Exxon Corporation and developed in association with 32 educ [Music] agencies you shouldn't keep your your opinions to yourself you should have a discussion because you it lets you um bring your ideas out and from inside to out and I think that's part of the reason they named it inside out [Music] n [Music] there's no more dear [Music] allowed this time she's going to do it she's better I think we should do she's got to do it this time here comes Clarissa Hey listen to me this is stupid you shouldn't have to do this why do you think you should have to prove yourself look at her she's going to ticken out look I didn't think you were going to come here to talk to me just do the Dare or don't either you do it let do or don't do it at all and then don't be r with her H be around with a light no we can't let her do it we're going to let her do it cuz she has going to and if she's going to us she want at all go go go go go go go go go [Music] go come on what kind of ending is that expect us to decide what she's going to do all educational shows have them kind of endings that don't tell you they don't tell you um what's going to happen so you got to figure it out yourself I I I don't really think I'd do it I think she should have because everybody else had a dare and she didn't have her dare so I think she should have they were a a lot luckier you know they were really lucky and even if you aren't making an example out of anybody you're talking about a program you're talking about something that could happen to any child and they're looking at real children you aren't talking about it in a book you aren't looking at something that really has nothing to do with them and this is something that's very exciting to children when the child who is an actor is doing something like the children are in this program so well that the children forget that they're actors you have got it made because they respond they are the person taking the there they are the child trying trying to decide am I going to cross that street would I do it in the program called must I may I the children were able to identify with the uh Debbie and Bobby the boy and girl that were in the this program and they were able to see that a lot of the things that happened to each of them happened to other children or maybe even happened to themselves ja I think he just St right after the problem and tell tell his parents he was old enough to take care of himself he didn't need any um anybody say watch out you can't cross the street be careful he should just tell his parents he's not a baby anymore and to step right up and then they might let him do more things by himself cobby watch what you're doing I told you to be careful want to ride you can put the bike in the car no I'm just going to Chris's Chris isn't home I already phoned to make sure I think you better come with me then I'll go to John's you know you've got across BL Street to get to John's Place and your father forbids that I don't want to go home why can't you leave me alone oh stop being such a baby now I'm not a baby and I'm not going home well don't get lost yeah I first give him a little responsibility and if if I was Bobby's parents and then if he asked for more responsibility we give him a little more and if I was Debbie's parents then um I I would get I wouldn't give her so much responsibility I can't I have to take Philip and Cory to dayare we can't finish her unless you come why do you have to take him every day what's wrong with their mother she's away watch it pH maybe I get Peter to take him Peter you take them today they're your cousins too I'm [Music] busy hey see you later [Music] D why do I always have to do everything I wish I live someplace else if I was Debbie I would try to get get get the kids to somebody who know knew more about housekeeping and have them do it well if I was Debbie I would tell my um mother to keep her if she was home I really don't think that Debbie's mother was home I think that she was probably working at a place where she wouldn't get out till late and when she did get home I think that Debbie should tell her mother to have her brother do some of the responsibilities cuz she couldn't do all of the responsibilities the Inside Out program is something that a child can make a part of himself he has to think about it he has to look at it he has to interpret it and then the beauty of it beauty of it all is it's not just what he's thinking it's what he's thinking and what the group lends to [Music] it [Music] hey St I he you were moving to DC could I have your bike could I have your boat you three guys don't have to worry you're not getting any my toys I'm going to tell my papa all about it tonight I'm not going you better watch out I heard that those boyss are pretty tough up there I don't need to worry I'm not going we'll see about that how was today fine we saw a real good movie uhhuh it was about a farm boy and his father couldn't make enough money money oh yeah and so they had to move and the boy had a boat and a dog and a bike remember last year when we moved away from New York I do remember how mad I felt when the boy felt just like me mhm and after the and after the show we um Mrs McCarthy and usal talked it over and she asked how did we feel when we moved away oh and how did everybody feel mad or sad and maybe even happy hey what subject was this call is it social studies or English well you know what subject did you see the film Mrs McCarthy said it was inter inter but it was a real good TV show Hey where's Daddy I don't know I think it's down by the boat well when well I want to tell him that I'm not going to DC with you guys why shoot it's going to be fun city my friends are down here and my relatives and my dog my bicycle wow your bicycle you can get a new Bic look you can't go no place else you got to stay with the family you you don't want to go with the family where you going to stay I stay at Grandma's house now now look you have to go to do things for you or to work sometimes you have to know them because it's very difficult in a group of a large children or maybe in a team to find out what they're really like when you use these programs you don't have to make a judgment they don't have to look for what you think they can look at the program and express themselves you haven't Pride you haven't asked personal questions but you find out all of these kind of things and you can do something about what some of their problems are if you can find out about them or sometimes they can help to solve other children's problems the great part about Inside Out is the fact that we can we can provide uh health education different from what you've had before health education has been the basic five and has been the you know the body parts and this which is an important part but the whole area of mental education mental health I should say uh has been not neglected but perhaps Sid stepped I think we have a good deal of information that tends to support the idea that you can't really separate the the individual from the physical and the emotional but now with this series we can begin to deal with the mental emotional and social health aspects of a total health education program I think in the past it's been too easy to look at a TV program as a package thing and you turn it off and you go back to you know whatever you were doing before this isn't going to let you do that anymore it's almost impossible for a classroom teacher to create the kind of dramatic situations which get the message across that than the way inside out does the program serves us to trigger discussion and allows the their feelings to come to the surface and they can begin to look at how they feel and how others feel and they can begin to see that uh in many instances they have feelings much the same as their friends and in some instances they may different and that it's okay to be different something which I'm quite pleased about is that it's not strictly a cognitive approach it deals with the effective domain it's going to give the youngster a chance to have some input it won't be strictly a teacher textbook kind of thing it'll be more of a pupil oriented program which is what I'm really enthused about I'm very excited about this series it's it's beautiful stimulating relevant tremendous terrific exciting motivating involving Dynamic fantastic valuable captivating entertaining who wants to be craned behind a book Inside Out is a series of 30 15minute color programs the series is based on two years of Planning and Development by Leading Health Educators medical Consultants learning Specialists and instructional broadcasters the program are available on videotape cassette and classroom film and include a teachers guide required for use of this series a 30-minute inservice film and utilization teacher training Workshop materials are also available for further information about Inside Out write nit the national instructional television Center box a Bloomington Indiana what are you going to do I'll tell you I'd like to do more than anything yeah I'll tell you if you catch me first what I'd like do more than anything is to come and live with your family a come on no really you're my best friend your parents are really nice a come on you know what they make me do pick up that pick up this after my they nice too they don't scream all the time do this do that brush your teeth take a bad would your parents take your bike away for a month if you broke a dish or something no but they you're lucky all sorts did your dad blow up all the time and shove you around no but and you're really lucky I got two more you know what we didn't serve our parents right if we ran away oh where would we go I no places Well we'd really get it when we came back well we wouldn't come back what do you mean me well at least not until we wanted to oh our parents really worry about us well maybe yours would not mine Inside Out is a series of programs and related materials developed by 32 educational agencies in the United States and Canada this program was made possible by a grant from Exxon Corporation and produced by wvt Northern Virginia educational television under the supervision of nit National instructional Television right I love that that uh it was an ad for inside out and it actually showed one of my favorite inside out out uh I dare you and actually showed kids talking about it about like uh cuz that that film is over the top uh as far as uh these kids they look they seem like feral kids there's no adults in their life except for the ones that they're pranking uh and doing dares against but uh yeah to hear some kids say like well I think she should do the Dare uh because all the other kids did the Dare and it's like oh my God don't you realize you missed the point like stepping in front of a a Volkswagen bus uh so that it'll stop what a horrible dare that is like that's you know that's you getting killed by a Volkswagen bus that's the gist of that and I'll show that again sometime in the future because I love showing it a lot and I showed it uh at the Alamo Draft House a couple months ago and people were just like shocked by uh by it um so anyways uh thanks for tuning in today I think we're going to end a little bit early um but uh I appreciate uh the comments I appreciate the thumbs UPS that's one way you can support us another way is uh to also contribute via the super thanks button which Richie rugs did uh or you can go to kfi.com avgeeks that's a way to
