Part I--Presents a regular class period during the eighth month on instruction. Techniques shown in order of presentations are:warm up, review of basic dialogue, presenting new lines of dialogue, dialogue adaptation, pattern drills, directed dialogue, conversation stimulus, assignment, reading, and questions. Part II--Devoted to special problems of the first day of class in a beginning course. Part III--Isolates and studies in detail individual techniques. Techniques considered progressive substitution or replacement drill, question-answer practices or response drill, directed dialogue, and rejoinder drill.
