Shimmering lines and waves of oscillating color dance to the music of Eastern rhythms in the computer-generated images of this film. Flowing lines evolve from randomness to patterns inspired by 8th century Persian designs.
It is a tribute to that quasi mythical image of Pythagoras whose discoveries eventually spread to Islam as well as Europe, imprinting for all time his theorems of geometry and his rudimentary arithmetic of harmony.
