Complete Record: The film opens on an African safari, David Ommanney discusses his love for the safari and his job. The film then goes to Nairobi, where Ommanney says is where most safari adventures begin, from there a small plane is taken to the safari location, in this instance the destination is Arusha. Ommanney meets Pete and Gates Romer at the airport and prepares to take them on a safari. They arrive at their camp, where they will stay for the next month. The Romers are excited and wide eyed when they get to their camp. The next morning they go hunting, they spot a young male lion laying on a rock and later a heard of zebra, Egyptian Geese, hippopotamus, cods, crocodile, buffalo. They go back to camp, where Pete writes in her journal, Gates cleans his camera, Ommanney takes a shower and dinner is prepared by their chef. the next morning they go out and spot antelope, and aim to find as many different species of animals in the area as they can, they see, giraffes, warthogs, storks, cheetah, ostriches, rhinoceroses, elephants. They go back to camp and go hunting for birds, which they eat for dinner. Later they go hunting for buffalo. That marks the end of the safari and they head back home.
