Description: Produced by the Aerospace Audiovisual Service for the United States Air Force, this 1965 government film depicts everyday life for soldiers and native Vietnamese civilians during the Vietnam War. The footage mostly shows American soldiers and their routines, depicting several airdrops of soldiers and bombs. Some village shots show USAF doctors checking on locals. Many of the residents have diseases that are common for soldiers at home, like runny noses and ear aches, while others suffer from more serious conditions like leprosy. Towards the end of the film their is a scene on the loss of USAF soldiers during the war, and a shot of a casket being loaded onto a plane.
