Traces the development of specialized breeds of chickens and shows work in a modern hatchery, brooder, egg factory, and processing plant. 3.) Illustrates that living things may be found almost everywhere through the story of a young boy’s discovery of various living things along a river bank. Shows how some animals live in undifferentiated groups while others live in communities which have a specific division of labor between the animals.
