Angiosperms: the flowering plants

Description: The flowering plants called angiosperms, the dominant form of terrestrial plant life, are adapted to great extremes of temperature and moisture and range geographically from the arctic zones to the tropics. Shows the structural and reproductive characteristics which distinguish them from other plants. Traces the processes of pollination, formation of seeds and fruit, seed dispersal, and plant growth.
