The story of Miguel, a twelve-year-old Mexican-American, who dreams of tending his father's flock of sheep in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Filmed on location in New Mexico., The young son of a Mexican-American family wishes to follow his father in the tradition of shepherding. However, he must prove himself before he is permitted to accompany his father on the annual sheep grazing trip. (Circulates)
