An Engineered timber building

Description: This film shows how engineers exploited the versatility of timber in the design of a new laboratory for the CSIRO Division of Forest Products. Only the outer frame and curtain wall of the building are of concrete and brick; the rest of the two-storey building, including the framework, is of timber.
