Any wound can lead to tetanus or as it's often called lockjaw. Watch out, especially for puncture wounds. No other injury permits the growth of tetanus bacteria more readily. Yet why take chances with your health, perhaps your life. Tetanus can be prevented easily. If you or any member of your family have not been immunized against this dangerous infection. Check with your doctor now. Don't wait for injuries to happen.
