Description: Most likely produced for the Arabian American Oil Company, or Aramco, this 1940s industrial film follows Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, as he conducts an official visit to the United States. Made for a Saudi audience, the film’s credits and voice-over narration are in Arabic. Following diplomatic stops in Washington, DC, and New York City, the Crown Prince makes his way to Texas for a tour of Texaco’s facilities in Port Arthur. Texaco and Aramco were equal stake holders in a Saudi oil concession.
