Lisa come on [Applause] [Music] in [Music] [Applause] [Music] many doll babies are extremely fragile all real babies are handle yours with [Music] care happy birthday to you Kathy doesn't look sick and she doesn't feel sick but Kathy has rubella German Measles a mild childhood disease which is often so mild that the symptoms can go unnoticed now Kathy has just passed the German Measles on to Joey and Susie and Nancy and Billy and Janice chances are none of these children will feel any serious ill effects from rubella it's been a busy day for Kathy and for the German Measles virus because in just 7 months Cathy's mother will give birth to Cathy's blind baby brother in the 1964 German Measles epidemic some 30,000 unborn babies died and thousands more were born with serious defects now there's a vaccine to prevent German Measles our future children can be healthy if we act now for information on immunization call your doctor or your local Health Department
