Amelia and the Angel

Amelia is one of five little angels in a end-of-term play. When her little brother destroys her wings she searches everywhere for a new pair., A nine-year-old girl who has the part of an angel in her school play tries to find another pair of costume wings after her brother has damaged the originals. Her search takes the film from realism to a more elusive and humorous world of enigmatic characters and discovery. It explores the themes of religion, guilt and redemption and while it can be considered a children's story, is also an innovative religious parable.
