Description: Al Lopez, a baseball all-star and Hall of Fame member, had a 19-year career as a catcher for Brooklyn, the Boston Braves, Pittsburgh and Cleveland. After retiring as a player he became manager of the Cleveland Indians from 1951-56, followed by two stints as manager of the Chicago White Sox (1957-65 and 1968-69).
