Description: This 1963 industrial footage for Trans-Texas Airways (TTa) captures agricultural workers harvesting flowers in the Rio Grande Valley and preparing them for shipment. Later, boxes of crab meat and chicken are loaded into the cargo hold of a TTa airplane. Previously known as Aviation Enterprises and later known as Texas International Airways, TTa was a Houston-based airline with passenger service to airports across the United States and multiple in Mexico. The company merged with Continental Airlines in 1982, which merged with United Airlines in 2010.
