Complete Record: In Nairobi, a village farmer comes to bargain for a red bicycle for his son. He rides it home and the son is overjoyed to have a bike to help him with his farm chores and take him to school. Parked in the school yard, the bike is stolen by a poor man from another village, who has left his home to seek a new life. The man trades the bike to a coffee tester in Nairobi for a cow. The tester uses the bike to ride through the fields, where he advises the farm workers on the plantations turned cooperatives. When the bike falls out of his truck, it is picked up by some tourists on safari, and eventually the bike is returned to the village from where it was stolen. All the villagers now have a share in the bike, and it is broken up for use in various ways.
