Description: An overview of the African continent; relationship between geographic factors; cultures and development of the people of each region; different climates; tropical rain forests, savanna, desert, Mediterranean; mountain ranges; rivers; population; European influence; crops; mineral resources; and progress being made as transportation, roads, machinery and water power development are improved. Problems created by emergence from old to new ways are introduced.
