Description: Presents three fables by Aesop. In 'THE CITY MOUSE AND THE COUNTRY MOUSE,' country mouse visits the city but decides that she would rather live simply and peacefully in the country than have elegant feasts in the city and live in fear. The fox in 'THE FOX AND THE GRAPES' is frustrated because he cannot reach a bunch of ripe grapes hanging from a vine just above his head. In 'ANDROCLES AND THE LION,' a Roman slave befriends a lion and his kindness is later repaid.
