Demonstrates the counting systems of Egypt, Rome, Phoenicia, Carthage and India and how they contributed to modern numbers system. 2. QUICKER THAN YOU THINK. Shows the evolution of cognitive counting systems into the creation of modern electronic calculators. Stresses that although it works at the speed of light, man must still plan its work. 3. MYSTERIOUS "X". Shows everyday applications of algebra and how scientists use its terms to explain the phenomena of nature. 4. WHAT'S THE ANGLE? Goes back to ancient times to explain the fundamental concepts of plane and solid geometry. Shows how this science was used and developed by Egyptians, Chinese and Greeks and its use today in architecture, construction, surveying and navigation. 5. IT'S ALL ARRANGED. Points out that by rearranging a given number of units a large variety of different combinations are possible. 6. HOW'S CHANCES?
