Description: Tells how the dog inherited both the abilities of a good worker and the desire to work from his two most important ancestors, the wolf and the jackal. Shows sled dogs working in groups to haul heavy loads across the snow, sheep dogs controlling a traveling flock of thousands, military and private guard dogs taught to attack intruders, mountain rescue dogs trailing scents to locate lost hikers and seeing eye dogs who are trained to disobey the command of their blind master in case of danger.
