Women of the Turkana people in northern Kenya discuss marriage and polygamy as plans for a wedding in an important Turkana homestead unfold. This documentary reveals why women support polygamy as a source of solidarity among them. Turkana women are well aware of the contradictory problems associated with individual liberty and communal survival.
